Barisone Verdict Is In: Not Guilty By Reason of Insanity

They’re everywhere! They’re happening all around you! Lol.

Depending on the size of the event, there may be a website for the specific event which would list the competitors in advance, along with the schedule.

Ignore/Mute works amazingly well. Once a poster shows you who they really are, believe them! Or in other words, if they post once and don’t get the reaction they want and post the same post again, it’s time to ignore.

Then I guess you’d be comfortable if she applied to board with you?

I think you’re missing a lot here…

That is an excellent picture. Lol.

I think they are saying remain business like and exercise the 30 day option to have LK move if necessary, and not allow any “working off” board payments.

That sounds like a great plan. In theory.

Or to quote Mike Tyson, which is a thing I have probably never done before in my entire life, everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.

In a somewhat crazy cosmic coincidence, the article that I happened to click on to track down that quote includes a reference to The Art of War, which I believe LK mentioned on the witness stand. Pretty darn freaky.

Very important part of your sentence.

what?? I would never take her on as a boarder. I usually get references from other barns before I take anyone in. Why do you think my post says I would take her?

But are you barefoot?

LK and IM have been saying all along that MHG was at the epicenter of this debacle. I don’t deny that MB might’ve been under some pressure from her and I don’t know MHG’s intentions re the relationship. It’s still a narrative pieced together with mainly assumptions. Some may be wrong, or right.

My BIL worked in a hospital when there was a regime change. The new regime insisted on having meetings to air grievances (sounds like Fesivus from Seinfeld) and to try to be more understanding and encouraging. Every day they had a different person post a sentiment on the bulletin board that was supposed to be encouraging. My BIL posted the above statement - they never made him participate in that exercise again.

MHG and OTHERS wanted them gone! They did nothing but cause conflict and disruption. Period.

Oh boy, I see Steve Wolgemuth has donated to the GFM for Michael Barisone.

I bet Lauren just added him to her enemies list.

You are obsessed with MBs personal relationships that are clearly none of your business. It’s really f’ing weird.

I must admit, I must live a very exciting life because I have never been so interested in the relationship(s) people around me are having as CH is in MB’s relationship(s). So strange.

Or, gee, could they have a narrative they are trying to make come true?

A quick google search shows that VK was a “former partner” in Barison dressage and had gone back to her maiden name in April of 2019 (and that does not tell us when she became a former partner, just a date that she was teaching under her maiden name). MHG announced her business partnership with MB in August of 2018.

While there is some overlap in these dates, a divorce, especially when separating assets, usually takes a long time. Months. So I wouldn’t be at all surprised that the two did not overlap if VK was divorced and completely separate from MB in April 2019. And I am not stalking or being creepy. There is just a lot of info floating around.

Plus, I want to believe the best in people. For the most part.

I’m not doubting that. :woman_shrugging:

Who is Steve Wolgemuth? I only ask as I am curious since I sat in front of a boy by that name in elementary and middle school and I wonder if this might be a son or grandson ( my Steve teased me for years, pulled my pony tail and asked all sorts of embarrassing questions - this was 60+ years ago in IL).

The version I heard came from someone in Marine Recon who had served one combat tour in Iraq and two combat tours in Afghanistan:

No OPS plan survives first contact with the enemy.

I think it is sometimes referred to as Murphy’s First Law of Combat.

And I can certainly believe it came originally from The Art of War.

And just look how quickly you found that information! These two want everyone else to do their search for them and then complain. Super lazy.
