What got me about the OJ trial was the fact that the glove didn’t fit him so it couldn’t have been his. Has anyone ever tried to put their gloves on after they had been wet? The leather shrinks when it dries. That really struck me during that trial. Didn’t those lawyers realize this.

Why? Why do we have to hear any more of that made up baloney from CH? CH doesn’t know anything! CH has no idea what happened! CH has proven again and again that she has no awareness of any facts about the case, she makes up anything she can think of. She doesn’t know anyone in the matter. She knew no one on the farm, wasn’t party to anything going on. She has proved over and over she doesn’t even have a grasp of the timeline of events that were testified to in court, and makes imaginary statements about things that led up to the whole thing.

WHy on gods green earth would you want to hear anything from CH??

I’m interested in hearing their reasoning.

Right. I can see her overhearing a conversation where MHG was telling MB about her observations of LK, things she did or didn’t do, times she hasn’t shown up for lessons, how she hasn’t been putting in the work, any number of other failings that MG might have been witness to that MB either wasn’t around for or didn’t notice. And there’s LK thinking, if it wasn’t for MG, MB would never have wanted to dump me! Blame it on MG! MG wants my horses! MG wants me off the property! For all we know, MG told MB about finding boxes of supoxen in the trash, and what that is, and that was what prompted MB to do an investigation. Or, she tells MB about them, and MB doesn’t get it, and she explains what it means, and tells him, Mike, you gotta get them out of here. You have to get them off the property. You can’t let drug users and jumkies live in your house. You could lose your property, your business, your livelihood, these people could destroy you, you have to get rid of them!

LOL, that’s not kill them, thats how do we get rid of junkies living in our house!

Drugs can make people paranoid. Psychopaths and narcissists can ben very paranoid. It was probably all downhill from there.

I believe at least one lawyer did realize that - but it was the defense lawyer.

Marcia Clark, the lead prosecutor, was seriously opposed to that move but Christopher Darden went ahead and did it anyway.

That jury likely would have acquitted anyway after the disaster that war Mark Fuhrman. The glove just gave them one more reason.

I remember so clearly that I was standing at the wash rack at the Capital Challenge horse show when the show announcer put the verdict announcement out over the loudspeaker in the barns. At first I did not know what it was, and then I realized. I had not been following it closely, but it was pretty darn inescapable at the time.

Well that’s certainly an interesting place to be watching it!

I was working on my paralegal Associates Degree while that trial was happening. My Rules of Evidence professor would discuss it every single class, so we basically had to watch it. And I was pretty sure by the end that jury was going to acquit. I remember watching at home thinking, well, maybe the class can move on now.

The nonsensical babbling reminds me of that old Sci Fi hack where Dr. Evil or some kin of his invents the ultimate computer and deploys it to outer space to take over the world. The computer is finally disarmed when the hero astronaut presents it with a question it cannot answer. The computer goes mad, and is either silenced, implodes, or roams the galaxies forever spewing nonsense.
