@Knights_Mom, sometimes one has to accept the fact that there is_no_reasoning. Thereâs no âthereâ there.
This understanding can make life much easier.
Itâs how people customize their new boots, soak em and wear them so they shrink juuuust right.
Right. I can see her overhearing a conversation where MHG was telling MB about her observations of LK, things she did or didnât do, times she hasnât shown up for lessons, how she hasnât been putting in the work, any number of other failings that MG might have been witness to that MB either wasnât around for or didnât notice. And thereâs LK thinking, if it wasnât for MG, MB would never have wanted to dump me! Blame it on MG! MG wants my horses! MG wants me off the property! For all we know, MG told MB about finding boxes of supoxen in the trash, and what that is, and that was what prompted MB to do an investigation. Or, she tells MB about them, and MB doesnât get it, and she explains what it means, and tells him, Mike, you gotta get them out of here. You have to get them off the property. You canât let drug users and jumkies live in your house. You could lose your property, your business, your livelihood, these people could destroy you, you have to get rid of them!
LOL, thatâs not kill them, thats how do we get rid of junkies living in our house!
Drugs can make people paranoid. Psychopaths and narcissists can ben very paranoid. It was probably all downhill from there.
Exactly!!
The pony is hilarious. Even with the muzzle on in the (very beautiful) indoor, heâs still looking for something to eat. Lol.
and a good rhymeâŠnever forget the power of a silly rhyme!
âthe most important part of your equipement are good bootsâ

I believe at least one lawyer did realize that - but it was the defense lawyer.
Marcia Clark, the lead prosecutor, was seriously opposed to that move but Christopher Darden went ahead and did it anyway.
That jury likely would have acquitted anyway after the disaster that war Mark Fuhrman. The glove just gave them one more reason.
I remember so clearly that I was standing at the wash rack at the Capital Challenge horse show when the show announcer put the verdict announcement out over the loudspeaker in the barns. At first I did not know what it was, and then I realized. I had not been following it closely, but it was pretty darn inescapable at the time.

Well thatâs certainly an interesting place to be watching it!
I was working on my paralegal Associates Degree while that trial was happening. My Rules of Evidence professor would discuss it every single class, so we basically had to watch it. And I was pretty sure by the end that jury was going to acquit. I remember watching at home thinking, well, maybe the class can move on now.

Sucks being called out. I still want to hear from CH though.
[/quote]Why? Why do we have to hear any more of that made up baloney from CH? CH doesnât know anything! CH has no idea what happened! CH has proven again and again that she has no awareness of any facts about the case, she makes up anything she can think of. She doesnât know anyone in the matter. She knew no one on the farm, wasnât party to anything going on. She has proved over and over she doesnât even have a grasp of the timeline of events that were testified to in court, and makes imaginary statements about things that led up to the whole thing.
WHy on gods green earth would you want to hear anything from CH??
Iâm interested in hearing their reasoning.
The nonsensical babbling reminds me of that old Sci Fi hack where Dr. Evil or some kin of his invents the ultimate computer and deploys it to outer space to take over the world. The computer is finally disarmed when the hero astronaut presents it with a question it cannot answer. The computer goes mad, and is either silenced, implodes, or roams the galaxies forever spewing nonsense.
I think that came up in a Star Trek reference either in this thread or a previous one. Lol.

Iâm afraid my long term memory is better than the short term one. Either that or I am experiencing PTSD from seeing that pinto pony. Can Dolly really be still alive? Sheâd be like 80 nowâŠ

Spock asked the computer an override question - calculate pi to the last digitâŠ
Yeah, Iâm a trekkie. Trekker. Whatever.
The rumor was OJ also didnât take his blood pressure meds or his LASIK or whatever prevented his hands from swelling.
I thought the Star Trek reference that came up before was to the Voyager space probe or whatever it was called? I wonât swear to it, though. Lol.

To be fair, between this thread and the previous one or two threads, there are about 12-13,000 posts combined. Plus another 9,500 or so on the thread before that.
So thatâs a lot of ground to cover for any kind of memory. Lol.
