Without reading the suit, which I have zero interest in doing, and without delving into NC Law on this, which I also have no interest in doing, when you sue for nonpayment, you’re simply stating you didn’t get paid. In my jurisdiction, that MIGHT allow you to ask for legal fees, maybe, in addition to the balance owed. But really you’re lucky if you’re getting a judgment for just the balance.
When you sue for a “bad check” you also get to recoup any fees incurred by the bank, including fees that accrued because the check was bad (ie: late fees on bills you would have paid, had the check cleared, or checks you wrote on the assumption the check was good that subsequently bounced, causing you fees.). When you deposit a check, generally the bank releases funds in 7-10 days, if not sooner. However, it can take 30-45 days depending on things, for the check to actually bounce, at which point, your bank goes in and claws back the funds they provisionally gave you. And that can wreck havoc on your life. A “bad check” suit allows you to ask for recovery for that.

I have no doubt there will be undesirable consequences (or threats of them) from LK and the clan because MHG sent those papers. No doubt at all. That is LK’s MO. How dare anyone do or say anything that might hold LK responsible for her actions.
I have yet to receive a single T-shirt so I am clearly not a cohort or on any team.
I am talking exclusively of possible undesirable consequences from USEF itself for filing the complaint, if they interpret it as attempting to weaponize USEF.

The second definition of ‘simply’ is ‘only’. You knew what a plain reading of your words meant and hoped no one noticed. You were spectacularly wrong.
You didn’t stick around because you were caught with your pants on fire and haven’t the humility or integrity to face it, own up, and move on. All you have is the dishonest reaction of trying to pretend it didn’t happen - until you were called out on that, too.
You let things stand with no response because you have no legitimate response. When you’re caught out, you’re caught out. You at least realise your attempted responses often only succeed in exposing you further.
Cohort. One of the remarkable things about the reaction to your latest whopper is that all kinds of posters, even those who aren’t much involved here, called you out. No one needs a ‘cohort’ when the lying is so painfully obvious everyone can - and does - see the same thing.

I mean, if I worked for Safe Sport, or USEF, or any governing agency and got a report that potentially included that thick ole background check that has drug charges, and potentially included pictures of discarded boxes of Suboxone, (and said person admitted to having used heroin and currently using Suboxone under oath), hypothetically I wouldn’t even need to read pages of social media harassment and threats.
But that’s just me. (And I have no idea what was in MHG’s complaint. But that stuff above would have been in mine if I were doing it)

i haven’t quite caught up yet but just had to say this. I love how “Bob Abooey” talks directly to LK. One can never be lonely when you have your own multiple personalities to talk to.

I thought she was remarkable on the stand. She could have legitimately gotten in all kinds of digs at LK b/c she was being asked specific questions about LK and her behaviour and abilities. But she went high. So very classy.
Contrast with LK getting her little dig about, of all things, deleting posts when no one was even asking her about MHG.
The differences between the characters of the two women could not have been any more glaring.
