Damaged teeth constitute the most frequent anesthesia-related claim in the United States [1]. The incidence of dental trauma in anesthesia practice varies from 1:150 to 1:1000 [2]. Most occurrences are due to the application of pressure by the hard metallic blade of the laryngoscope during endotracheal intubation. Dental damage is classified as fracture into the enamel layer (class I), fracture into the dentinal layer (II), fracture into the tooth pulp (class III), fracture of the tooth root (class IV), subluxation of a tooth (class V), or avulsion of a tooth (class VI). Factors predisposing to dental trauma include emergencies, situations in which intubation is difficult such as mandibulofacial abnormalities, and increased vulnerability of the teeth caused, for example, by caries, periodontal disease, restorations of teeth, crowns, or fixed partial dentures [2]. The use of different types of tooth protectors has often been advocated to prevent dental trauma during anesthesia [3]. Poor visibility and lack of space when ordinary protectors are applied make the intubation difficult or even impossible [4].

I don’t know if it’s true that LK was floating loans for the utility bills or not. But I can totally believe that MB was between a rock and a hard place — the rock being MHG with her insistence that MB send LK off, possibly threatening to leave him if he didn’t, and the hard place being LK, who he may have needed desperately for the revenue she brought in.

Where is there any evidence of that?

I believed IM when he said that MB, rather than being decisive and making a tough choice, he wanted it both ways, telling MHG he would deal with LK, and actively keeping LK as a client while telling her he would deal with MHG. It was untenable.

The same IM who posted a bunch of things that were proven false on this board?

MB was caught in a dilemma, and, as it turned out, couldn’t cope. He became delusional.

LK and RG and their threats and SM posts were the dilemma.

I think the bashing lies in the insistence that the entire tragedy somehow resulted purely from the actions of LK in a vacuum.

So you think MB just shoots a client out of the blue without the harassment? What evidence do we have of him being delusional prior to LK’s harassment?

I think he shot her based on receiving false or no information and misinterpreting the information he did have because he was insane/delusional as said by the defense doctor in the trial.

I, unlike you, do this to protect my family. I am not protecting anyone’s bad behavior. I am not enjoying watching you misunderstand a situation and trying to blame one person on the inappropriate and dangerous actions of many. I hate doing this. I find NO PLEASURE in this unlike you. I’m curious because of you didn’t come here I don’t think this thread would be nearly as long or focused on LK. It’s very bizarre to me that some individuals who purport to be against online “trashing” come here to help make more of what they deem “trash.”. Perhaps my personality is to ignore gossip til it fades away, as in my experience it does so quickly if not fed and nurtured.
