A few other crazy as*ed threads that have to make it to the Top 10:

  1. Cello’s Pride - I believe all the Mods and multiple COTHers are now the subject of federal lawsuits involving egregious violations of the ADA due to this poster, our very own Perry Mason in a leaky sailboat. A huge WTF quotient on all these threads. Pack your hat with tin foil and hang on for the ride.

  2. IIRC there was someone who had a liver chestnut WB, believe it’s name started with a C, or was a wine reference - maybe they were located in a vineyard? It seems there was some serious drama around this situation - but I could be totally wrong. Anyone remember this?

  3. I’ve stated it before but Pocket Trainer was just about the d*mned funniest thing evah.

MJ and Pinto Piaffe were just sad episodes all around.

Regarding the latter, did Daydream get her filly back?

Here’s the link to the one I mentioned earlier. 15 pages worth of debate on flag etiquette at medal ceremonies. :smiley: I love revisiting this thread because while it gets pretty crazy and COTHish, it’s not a tragedy, like the PP or Musical Jumper threads or even Alisija thread. No serious real-life harm involved to anybody, human or equine. Just a grand old debate where everybody involved is convinced, naturally, that they are right. :wink:

But where is Alysheba now? Not sure, but where ever it is she’s probably on her knees. :eek:
And TBTrailRider? Being chased by a non-Caucasian.
And Chanter? Somewhere that has someone abusing her, someone abusing her “service dogs”, somewhere that she’s not allowed to have water and there’s probably rats there too. So she’s probably trying to sue someone right now.
And and and…some are fun to wonder about, just idle sillyness. But most of all Pinto Piaffe: she’s the one who is most recent, most visible, and in the most trouble. Convicted, right? You have to wonder where she is now. And is she still involved with horses while wearing rose colored glasses?
Probably doesn’t own them since she’s not allowed for some time yet. However I wouldn’t be surprised if she was looking for jobs with horses or animals somewhere. And probably on another BB somewhere spinning out more fiction on her imaginary life.

    That does sound familiar but I can’t place the person. Although it kinda brings to mind the No Longeing at Devon drama-queen Chanda.

    As was Norcrest…another well known person on here adept at creating a fantasy online persona and being a neglector IRL. IIRC she had 1 dead on her property and 4 that had to be euthanized and almost 80 more seized, yet was still trying to buy/free lease more. :frowning:

    I don’t think so. :no: The rescue that ended up with the horses wasn’t being cooperative IIRC.

I cannot believe I spent almost all day reading these! It’s better than television. Although I do wonder what happened to many posters (especially since I am new and not often online). My curiosity caused me to wonder . . . perhaps EquiisAutisticSavant knows the whereabouts of cellospride . . .

So I jumped around the Alisija thread and it goes on and on!!! My question is the “houseguests” that are referred to are different alters people involved in the case signed on with?

And it seems if a poster is banned the mods automatically know if the same person is trying to post under an alter and that alter gets banned, too?

And one last thing, does anyone know why Thomas was banned?

Nobody knows for sure. Alters in such discussions can be anyone from rabble-rousers to genuine articles but nobody can ever tell for sure unless the e-mail addresses match those known to be used by those involved in the matter.

It’s never a sure thing with banned posters just like I said above but if the IP addresses or other things match, they get banned. That’s how it works on forums. Often, they adhere to a regimen of posting behavior but it’s certainly possible for someone to fake an alter to make it look like someone who has been banned for using alters has returned if they post in a similar fashion. There simply is no concrete way to tell what is what and who is who without connecting the dots, which is not always possible.

Thomas was banned for being confrontational and borderline-abusive depending on your POV. He more or less whacked people over the head with his posts and didn’t care to filter himself, which is what got him canned.

It’s hilarious how differently we remember the truly outstanding trainwreck threads.

When I think of CP, I remember her leaky sailboat and naming the publisher of the Chronicle in one of her endless ADA lawsuits - I forgot that the damned 3:00 a.m. lungeing at Devon was the genesis of that hot mess! :lol:

Same with Chanda and her embryonically deformed superhorse, Chase (been wracking my brains to recall that thread). That baddie Richard Spooner was going to wreck him, don’t you know!!!

There have been a couple of memorable train wrecks in the past where all over sudden new members popped up who bore a remarkable resemblance to particular people, down to the type font and color…I think more than one outed themselves involuntarily by not keeping track of what account they were currently logged onto. The excuse after that was a drunken house guest had commandeered the computer and posted the inflammatory content.
Some of those new characters were engaged in a heated discussion with each other…
Fun times! :cool:
