while she was already fading, she bobbled a bit & her jockey kept looking down, but didn’t really pull her up. Wonder if she threw a shoe…

Never really seemed comfortable, lots of “bounding” rather than smooth running.
Not sure if the kickback was a problem or if he just didn’t like the track surface.
There are more issues to choose from than just the two that you mentioned. With 2 year olds you never know, when like us, you’re out of the loop and just watching them from a distance. As you said though, not a desirable form.

How many of Chrome’s get have been run on the turf? seems like more dirt starts based on what I have seen so far but I have not had the time to dig in and start looking up entries/results. If not many have made starts on turf; I am surprised.
