I work until 11:00 tonight (CST). I will then head promptly for bed, as I must get up tomorrow at 5:00 a.m. to get things done before church, and I’m pretty worn out from the week and want to get as many Zs as possible. I know you are worn out, too, from foal watch. Me not from foal watch, but still not a piece of cake routine week.
Ergo, Chloe will foal at 11:02 CST, right as the picture on my monitor is fading to powerless black.
Maybe if you didn’t provide such delicious bedding. Chloe would get down to real baby business.
How does this work - Acottongim’s last post was March 30 @ 2:22 AM. Chloe lives in Florida which is 3 hours ahead of the west coast.
Right now it is 7:30 pm on Satuday, 29th. (I figure it should be l0:30 PM in Florida, on the 29th).
Okay I am so bummed that I can’t watch this whole MareStare thing! Stupid Mac computer!!
AH but just to add to the confusion… I am in the part of FL that is in CST, (remember the hanging chad thing a few years back LOL). Everyone forgets part of FL is in a different time zone. It is currently 9:34 cst. To make it easy to gues the time put it in centeral time zone.
Trakmom - if I could give her something else I would LOL. My hay guy loved it that I was wasting his hay on bedding… of course she isn’t WASTING it as she EATS it all. This from a mare that NEVER finished her hay in the stall before. sigh

I’m hoping that is what she is doing! I want to say some of my other mares get REALLY active (like she has been) until just a few hours from foaling when they get really quiet. I am hoping that is what she is doing and not just saying that she had fooled us all! LOL

I’ve got one that was due 3/11. Whenever I check her she looks at me like “what are YOU looking at?”
She’s in noooo rush. Not really even ready now and she’s at 357 days. I’m supposed to travel next week but I’ve waited this long, hate to leave now. I just now she’ll drop it the night I go out of town!
Well OF COURSE she will… that is what she is waiting for!!! Don’t ya know it?? !!! LOL
This is my third one, two more coming after her (although the last one is due at the end of May beg of June).

Enough lurking:D I’ve been checking on this silly fat mare from the start! I just got in from work and was sure she would have a pretty filly on the ground but noooooo! I’m even starting to get a kick out of the bugs flying at the camera:no: I’m green with envy as I gaze out at the snow still covering my fields! Will watch for a while more tonight then check in the morning. Good luck!

OK, I’m just going to give everyone a head’s up… If the cam changes to a bay horse with two small white hind socks (pay attention here - Chloe has a right hind and a left front white sock and is black) it is Dove.
She is a Hailo daughter o/o a T’bred mare. In foal to the Enrico Carouso son Tanzeln. Her owner has been watching all the other mares foal and I will swap to Dove if she goes into labor. I’m leasing Dove this year for a breeding lease. I will also be calling the vet to be on the way if she goes into labor so if you see a man enter it is my vet.
She expressed skim milk this pm but has no other signs, but she is a maiden mare…
She also has a maroon halter on (might appear red in the cam). Oh and she only has a few white hairs on her face (not the big mark that Chloe has).
Well, Chloe. I’m not impressed with your stalling tactics. I will check in tomorrow morning. So I can see your new foal!!!
Anissa, I think she’s just fat & stringing you along. I am going to start calling her Suerte soon. 
You are not the first one to say that… but she isn’t I swear (just fat, although she is that too!).
Good golly that tail… lol. It is a wonder she has one left!
