Chloe FILLY 4/10 - on CAM 1 tonight, Dove Filly! 4/5 - Dove/Ruby CAM 2 tonight (4/11

OMG - you are too funny!!! That is even BETTER than sitting in a cop car!!!:lol::lol: (hey, speaking of taps/busts etc… we busted a meth lab on St Patty’s day over here … how much fun was I having!!! LOL )

As for Ms Priss here… I hope she goes tonight - or holds on until Friday night. But she does need to get down to business, I have another maiden mare due on 4/3 that I actually NEED eyes on as she is a special needs mare, so if she doesn’t go soon, I may have to swap her out with the other mare (luckily Dove isn’t looking close right now).

She sure is uncomfortable though… lots of side biting and obtw - she is VERY gassy right now (wrapping her tail was oh so pleasant LOL).

hopefully you didn’t get too close, those meth labs are bad news.
This isn’t bad, I’m just chilling, watching the screen and listening to the wire
You’re right she is looking much more uncomfy and annoyed

ACK, I know… this was my second lab (neither active thank god… the one active I wallked up on I didn’t go inside, just got the mom on my case load out of there and left), but we were in the house for a few hours… I know when it has been a fairly recent cook as my throat and eyes etc burn and my skin itches… how do people DO that stuff??? You know it is going to be good though when they have two monitors sitting in the living room and they are on! LOL

I told Ms Thang that there is a cure to what ails her… she just has to lay down and spit the baby out. she just isn’t listening to me so far. Much more antsy tongiht though than she has been.

We finally had to bite the bullet and put penny out. As soon as we put her out she had it within about two hours. She just had decided she wasn’t having it in a stall.
And she had it in the exact same spot she had had her first foal, before I owned her.

Well I think she wants to be in the stall… lord knows the past few days leading her out to the paddock is like taking her to slaughter (according to her). She is such an odd little bird. That tail cracks me up… man she can make it a weapon!

I’ve noticed the tail seems to be wringing a lot more. This might be it but who knows. If you want to nap I’ll watch a bit and call your cell if I see anything.

Thanks, I’m fine right now actually… you know how you can run on nothing for a while and you just get used to it??? Seriously, I’m good for now and am actually doing work (prepping for a trial in April) so it isn’t a big deal.

I see you

Got an update for us? Trying to determine if I should call it a night now, or stay awake for some foaling!

LOL, the mare is a HOOVER… did you see her taking hay out of my arms to eat - and then get grouchy with me??? LOL. I told her that if she had the baby I would get her some grain (think it might work??).

Well, for those following the saga… girlfriend is very slightly damp/sweaty on her shoulders and flanks - and it is close to 40 degrees so it ain’t the heat! Not this means ANYTHING for this mare… who knows???, but thought I would share.

Mom called and said she is CONVINCED that she will have the baby tomorrow - so anytime from midnight tonight to midnight tomorrow. (per her)

And can she get further into the corner??? LOL, what is she doing? sitting on the wall??

hmmm…sweaty huh? Damp you say? I will give her another 20-30 mins, then I’ll go to bed. She’ll probably foal about 5 minutes after I turn off the computer!!

WELLLLLL if that is what it takes junebug… go to bed now!:lol::lol: Kidding

Seriously, I normally “KNOW” when the mare is going to go, but I can’t read this mare at all, so I can’t tell you to stay up or not. When you get tired, go to sleep - that is more important LOL! And it is a very light sweat, not like “WOW she is sweaty” but when I was petting her I had to do a double take… both sides are that way front and back.

Ok Chloe. I’m turning off the computer now…

I’m sending good foaling vibes to you!!

Night junebug!

she is looking awfully uncomfortable. Do you leave the lights on all night or shut them off? I think as soon as she thinks it has settled down for the night you will have your baby.

Lights stay on all night or the cam won’t work… but she is well used to them being on. She was stalled next to Val for 2 weeks prior to her foaling and the lights were on for Val too.

She is MIGHTY uncomfortable - I swear she is going to wring her tail off her body LOL.

I hope you are right and she is just waiting for the “middle of the night.”

I think that’s why she keeps leaning on the walls, to relieve the pressure. I don’t know how she can stand it.

Ok, I’m watching now. I’ve been sick with flu the past 2 days, was having a nap. She looks very uncomfortable doesn’t she? Her tail keeps going up in the air. Now I’m not going to be able to turn this off.

Does anyone have any suggestions on getting the cam to work? In internet explorer I can see the media player with the opening picture and it says “connecting…” but it either never does or an error message “cannot connect to media server” comes up.
Help!
