I wish I could. My horse is several states away until I can go home. That would definitely help.
Maybe you could find a surrogate while you are away from home… I’m sure there are some COTHers that would gladly loan their horse out for some hugs and treats. 
If you’re in Western NC, there are lots of huggable horses and one senior that loves kisses on her nose!!

Thank you everyone. So far he is doing great so we will just keep on going. We spent a few hours in the ER last night because his blood sugar skyrocketed but they said that was to be expected due to the massive amounts of steroids and sent him home. Just came from going out to dinner.
