I checked out their Facebook and he does seem to be improving.
They also described in detail the next steps for him, and it sounds like a very solid plan. He is going to get Rejuvenaide, which they hope will help support issues with his joints, tendons and legs. They are carefully referring him, and making sure he has help getting up and down. They are not moving him yet, and it sounds like he will get farrier care in the near future.
The original breeder continues to come visit and check on him, and it sounds like they have thoroughly vetted the breeder and are very likely to end up allowing him to adopt the colt, after more rehab is done. It sounds as though the crazy abusive people who starved him and put him in a sling are the ones truly at fault for what happened here.
It is encouraging to see the poor boy doing better. It will e interesting to see how he looks in another two weeks, after more nutritional support and some farrier work.
