Dehydration/minor colic JINGLES needed

um-- got me stumped— chanter didnt your mum ever tell you

NEVER EVER BITE THE HAND THAT FEEDS YOU

and JOHN WAYNES QUOTE-- DONT HURT PEOPLE THAT DONT HURT YOU –

chantershelper i think you a great person so now you have to give hernotice to quit – think business – if you had a groom a live groom then she wasnt doing all job you expected then notice to quit you have no rules no contract

– if her horses are there and dogs – and she needs support then its welfare issue – and she needs to be hosptialised or in ahome

and chanter if that shocks you-- then you getting on in life
and things happen if you want to change abe better or maybe try to work things out then by change your atititude — i hope your hosre is well

it might be all stressed from move but chanterhelper cant do everything all at once shes moved to – for god sake – bang your heads together maybe
and reialise the whole situation is one of stress for all dogs horses and people
it could be – relesase from pressure of everything and ight abit od of iam out now – you know chanter— chanters heper gave you a chance

and you have blown it --maybe --your no spring chicken- have baggage with dogs and horses – so you think beofre you speak – and appologise and mean it

I think we’re reading pretty clear evidence that Chanter does have some kind of brain injury or damage, and it’s of the sort that makes her perhaps a bit aggressive, a bit delusional and, more importantly, paranoid. She needs more help than can be provided by someone offering her a job and a place for her and her animals to live.

What a sad situation, all around. I hope a satisfactory resolution can be found, but it isn’t going to be an easy happily-ever-after.

I’m just saddened.

I wonder how many opportunities Chanter is going to squander out of (insert favorite description here).

I wonder whether CH will extend a helping hand ever again, to someone in need.

And I wonder how many of us reading here, are going to be as willing to help the next situation? Probably not many, that is the disservice that Chanter has done to this BB.
There is nothing about this BB situation that would make me decide to never again help someone in need. I would do so in a heartbeat. Once I am certain I have a grip on the facts.

And since I can never really be 100% certain, I never give assistance that would cause me financial grief, put my real family at risk, or make me really ticked off should the situation turn out to not be as represented.

Here, I don’t recall anyone offering a shred of verification. OTOH, there was much heated opinion that “fact-checking” in and of itself was morally outrageous conduct.

I am sad to see CH get bitten this hard this soon.
But as one of the original naysayers…

maybe all the original kumbaya folks could step up and do something to help out Chantershelper. After all they were the ones egging each other on with sunshine up the backside to help this poor person–and shutting us (the naysayers) down when we asked legitmate questions.

Been there, done it. MJ anyone? So, where are all you do-gooders now that this situation has gone sideways in such short order???

No shit. This board holds some responsibility for its support of such a sick situation, and I’m afraid that chantershelper is going to be the only one who actually pays.

Coreene!!! No you didn’t! I am still stuck at work…and now I need depends…I am picturing Chanter singing “My life will go on” on the stern of the Titanic while being accompanied by uneutered Shitz Tzus!!!

I am curious as to where all those people from the first thread have gone?..from going back and reading it, anyone who dared to question or remotely sugest some investigation was asked fairly impolietly to leave, by quite a few? Shouldn’t something be done to help Chantershelper and Chanter now?

The whole situation makes me sad and sick. I’m one of those who was told to “shut up,” and this is what I had said:

. . . I usually don’t post on threads like this one, but this one is getting seriously scary.

People can have one more than one type of problem.

You cannot save everyone, certainly not by yourselves!!

I was agreeing with Rebecca, who identified herself as a mental health professional and warned people to be cautious.

Chanter is not a terrible person. She is just someone who has problems that are way beyond the capacity of a bunch of do-gooders on the internet to fix. Now she is probably worse off than when she was when she started, and other people have been hurt along the way   .

I owner a shih zhu… She is a darling… but as dumb as a box of hammers.

they’ve most likely all moved on the their next great cause. unfortunately.

didn’t I say that already?

FWIW…

I don’t for a minute think that Chanter’s story is some elaborate, made up plot. I have talked with her over private messages for long enough to know that this story is consistent with the same things we’ve talked about in the past. Chanter may not be objectively right but I think she is genuinely reporting the things that she percieves to be real. She has had a traumatic brain injury! Ever heard of Phineas Gage? Brain injury can really change your personality etc. and living with that can be hard. I don’t think this is some made up sob story, I genuinely think she is reporting the world as she experiences it.

That being said, Chantershelper, you have gone above and beyond and for that I applaud you. What you’ve done is amazing and so generous. I am in awe of your kind heartedness. In awe.

And just as an aside, it is my understanding that seizure dogs can be any kind of dog, of any size. They don’t really understand why some dogs can sense a seizure, and when trainers find a dog that can they are loath to do anything that might diminish that ability (such as neutering). Some seizure dogs are large so a person can grab onto them when they fall. Others simply bark to warn of a seizure so the person can get seated or lay down before the seizure happens. They don’t really understand what it is these dogs are sensing or why, so it’s a bit of an art not a science finding them. They’re un common enough that when one is found, even if it’s a non-hardy breed, they give it a try. I am sure if they can figure out how to breed the ability in, they’ll breed it into a large sturdy breed. But there are service dogs of all types and breeds around. I volunteered with someone who had a COMMODORE who could sense seizures. Now c’mon, if you could breed the ability into a breed would YOU choose such a difficult to maintain breed?? :)

Chanter, I hope you can find the help you need in whatever form it takes. Chantershelper, again, I am in awe of your generosity.

a commodore is a high ranking sailor. Did you mean Komondor?

Yes, I did mean “Komondor.” Clearly a cat person!

That gave me a giggle, I was thinking, isn’t a commodore a bird? How does that work? Thank goodness it’s only a sailor, hopefully a nice cute one to tell you when to lay down, because you are about to have a seizure.

There’s the Orange, King, and Nicholas Commodores too? Can I redeem myself by spelling “puli” correctly? Probably not.

Well, if the horses are there for any period of time over 30 days without being recompensed, there is always the threat of the Innkeeper’s Act.

I think that it might be tough to dislodge Chanter, at this point.

I feel badly for CH…last thing you need is more worries!

The person who sent the “burly Canadian” to roust up the last BO ought to be sending an apology. Although he’s likely just glad that she’s GONE.

Cinder

No…Commodores were a black singing group, popular in the late 70’s. Maybe they sing if they sense you are getting anxious, or have a panic attack coming on.

Hope the Arab gets feeling better soon.

But, it is terrible after EVERYTHING that chantershelper has done to help the OP out, that she has to come on to this BB and defend (or at least explain) herself and her farm. Where is the gratitude for all the help to get out of a dreadful situation?

Jingles for the horse and hope all is well.
I am thinking the exact same thing… Chanter I understand you have been through a lot but man… we should all be so fortunate to have some guardian angels swoop in and help us like they helped you!

I think before you air your problems here, you need to speak to Helper out of respect and appreciation for all of the sacrifices he/she has made for you.

Hope all works out and your old boy feels better soon.

Sorry if this disappoints you but no we haven’t abandoned either ChantersHelper or Chanter. We’re still all very much involved trying to find a solution to this situation that will be the best possible solution for everyone.

I think its very sad that this didn’t work out I also find it sad that some people seem to really be enjoying that fact.
