In regards to Roy Parker and “Mike”; my suggestion to everyone is to stop feeding the trolls. Keep this thread OPEN and ongoing with valid information. This thread is a valid source on info for someone who might be looking to do business with Jill. The only way to keep people informed is to keep this thread at the top and open. While many of the responses are highly entertaining, I think we’ve all come to the conclusion that the few newbie “supporters” of Jill that popped up in this thread are in some-way connected with her; some of them are clueless about anything pertaining to Jill’s operation (which makes it that much more questionable). So why fight/argue with them? Lets keep this thread going and keep gathering info!
it’s funny how her defenders on here throw around ‘libel’ and ‘slander’… In my stallion research over the past 2 years, I came across several threads on various websites where Jill as herself ripped apart several stallions and continually perpetuated false claims about her ‘competitors’. An effort done so as to gain business herself. thankfully on most of those threads, the owner of the stallion in question defended themselves and invited anyone curious to come have an intelligent discussion and meet the animal in person.

This very much sounds like a classic disorder that results in a lack of empathy, superficial friendliness, manipulation, and chronic lying. Or she could just be a very bad business woman with a dislike of housekeeping.
Regardless, let’s hope that justice prevails or at the very least in the future people know to go into business with GFF with their eyes open.

I agree. I would be there with my lawyer, all paper work that was between us, and be contacting the cops on my way there. I don’t know about anyone else by $500 is a lot of money to me let alone $2,000 to whatever else she owes some people.

So when this whole thing started, I had great resources to answer questions in regards to “claims” and “accusations” which is why in the beginning I asked for facts! I was told “being a bad businessperson isn’t against the law” people need to use the legal system to pursue their claims not a forum to create a witch hunt ( no pun intended ).

Eagle Mike, that remark about pilots and the airline industry was totally uncalled for. I agree. You deserve better, but we deserve your respect as well! Your industry is highly controlled by laws and regulations, ours is not. So this is a source of information and comraderie for us. It works for us.
There are cries for “stop feeding the trolls”, but honestly you are the only one who is willing to have a logical (well mostly) discussion on the thread. The other trolls are just off their rocker.
A lot of the claims are based on specific equine experience and knowledge of the right way to handle semen for example. Until you get up to speed you can not argue with Equine Reproduction! Dont try.
I am sorta with you, unless the actual damaged parties come forward and DO SOMETHING other than post on COTH, then we will just continue to banter back and forth waiting for another JB thread to show up. Which it will guaranteed.

Jill called the ISR/OLD inspector the night before her scheduled inspection this month, she said that she had a family emergency. Seeing the photos of her home? was shocking, dead chicks? now dead foals? I was at her 2010 inspection, the horses looked great, how strange that things are not always as they appear. This is a very sad situation, mostly for the horses that were in her care. I’m also very sorry for those of you that have dealings with her that will not be easy to resolve.

Thanks Noms, apparently I need to be more specific in my questions/answers so as not to be accused of being a troll or a supporter. I respect anyone that has the sense enough to pursue a claim and hold somebody accountable for not fulfilling a contract/promise. Anyone can say “she owes me this” but isn’t it much more believable when someone says " she owes me this and here is my small claims award for the breach of contract" I.E. Waldenbrook Farms.
I don’t buy the " it’s to big a hassle to pursue so I’ll just forget about it", because then you just perpetuate the problem. So my GF is close to pulling the trigger, she asks me to see what I can find in regards to complaints ( legal action ) against GFF, I find 1 ( Waldenbrook Farms) and this string that has many claims, accusations, and heresay. I ask for facts which really, is it too much? The majority doesn’t like what I’m asking so I’m either Jill, her husband, or a supporter. Really? For just asking for documented facts? Daventry, how many times in your career have you seen a Court allow heresay?
Obviously I have limited knowledge in the Equine field and never once portrayed that I was anything more than an observer. I acknowledge that many of you are experts in breeding. My questions in regards to the Lab were in the context of someone actually being there during the process watching the preparation of the semen or was it just a bunch of Lab equipment piled up waiting to be moved to the new site. Wouldn’t it have been better for someone truely concerned about their fellow breeders that had been there, to publicly warn everyone as to the conditions witnessed?

Sorry if this is gruesome, but in regards to dead foals, they are not of such a weight that they need whenched onto the truck. I lost 2 foals (one ran into a gate and another put down due to fatal injuries after being attacked) and took both to the rendering plant.
No excuse for dead foals lying about if you care at all. Both of those incidents ripped my heart out and no way could I look at a tarp covered pile and continue on with my day. Too busy really doesn’t enter the equation. You take care of these kinds of things. You just do. But it just fits in with everything else about how her “business” is run as well as the pictures.
