"DOUBLE JEOPARDY!" - Old Horse Show Trivia

Wee Willie and Wee Ken

Did they too become Philadelphia police horses?

Shorty that barn still exists. People can board there, and use Fairmont Park Trails.

Not Always…

Brought out by M. Edgar Mills.
Owned by Peggy Steinman from Lancaster, Pa.
Shown by Eggy Mills, R. J., Terry Rudd, etc
Sold to Adele Nichols from Pa, who tried to show him herself.
He spent some time at Hunter King’s in Malvern. After that

Famous horses by the stallion GAME…

Game Plan/Liza Dennehey
Super Flash/Cismont Manor winner

I intended I.C.Blue Shadow, but VTRider insists Paige never rode that one. I think she’s wrong, but will go w/the majority opinion! LOL

Wrong discipline. Not North American. Try the other side of the pond. Hint: female. Hint: horse was bay.

And another…

At a show in Europe, at the end of a LONG Sunday, we packed up the lorry to go home to the farm. As they were pulling out in the Mercedes, the last thing the bosses said was, “If you stop on the way home, make sure somebody stays with the horses.” Fine, whatever.

So we get on the road, and in about 15 minutes come to a little village with a fast food place that will obviously be our last chance for food/rest rooms/sodas for hours, but it looks like it’s about to close. Of course, we all scramble out to run in before the doors are locked- picture a big clown car at the circus. Just as the last clowns hop out, what do we notice at the drive-through window? A familiar black Mercedes!

So the last person out of the truck saw it, thought on her feet, walked towards the back of the truck, opened the windows more, and waited for the first person to come back beore she went in to get food.

We were all so proud of outsmarting the boss- that hardly ever happened in that operation!

Good job. Scot To Do was who I was talking about. Where did he come from and who rode him as a professional?

How many riders/divisions can you name for Godspeed?

The grey " Streaker Horse " at Washington was owned by Leonard King ( he is President of Devon H. S. and has the picture in his office - the picture is slightly out of focus !).
Carol Thompson was showing the horse at the time and it was in her barn.
I think the rider was a guy from the jump crew ??
It certainly made the ‘JOG’ for that class a lot more exciting.

ABBEY:
THANKS!!! I had that name in the deep recesses , but then I thought , no that is the actor, must be something else. Is he still around?? Second only to watching Harry DeLayer fly around the tiny MSQ ring waving he hat after a clean round - barely attached to this runaway!!

So what was Tiger’s real name?
