"DOUBLE JEOPARDY!" - Old Horse Show Trivia

Leslie Burr - who was her mother? And her father wasn’t Raymond “Perry Mason” Burr, right? Why am I not looking in my copy of the Pony Book?

Kryswyn shakes head and walks away muttering.

Must have been out here Dublin.
Will try and see if it is in an old HORSES.

Today’s clinic is NEW news, not old Unless it was an OLD rider who won!

Half of what PETER won goes to the IRS…

I know there are some Pennsylvania people here who can answer this one:

What was Junie Kulp’s real first name?

And where did the nickname, Junie, come from?

The grey horse that Alice purchased and showed in the juniors is Luger, I’m almost positive.

Cristimar Farm

Chrissy
Tippy
Maria

Tippy’s cute mare Raggedy Ann was originally owned by Nancy Kraemer, who rode at my barn.

Dublin - Did you know Leslie Grelle when you were with Joan? Is she about your age?

PS the 3 horses I was thinking of were:

Bavaria

Devon

Double Talk

What was the name of Eve Baskowitz’s sister? Hint It was a man’s name with tow s’s on the end.

And where in the world is Eve BAskowitz?

Patiently waiting for the answer. This is getting really good Emmett…

Since it is nearly time to go home, the answer is AJW, Scott Nederlander and Christian Currey.

BTW, this is a FUN thread. Anytime you can stump Emmet, you’ve got something going!

Was just going to say that rexford But there may have been someone else before her, hmmmmmm

Did you ride at Rice Farms? What horse? I am trying to guess how you would remember those facts.

Yes, I rode at Rice Farms. From the name I use to post on this BB you should know who I am. A hint: I still take lessons from VR. If you still can’t guess my name E-Mail me and I’ll tell you.

Peter Zeitler, groomed Sloopy, while he was at the USET, not Ronnie Silcox

John Madden also groomed Jonies

Don’t think Linda owned that one showjump, but I bet you can name the chestnut that she did show w/Joey as a junior, right?!

even though you know I know the answer.

Fairweather Farm was owned by the Lords. “Old” Mr Lord’s second wife was Margot Graham, who was MUCH younger. I don’t remember her horse’s name.

The Fairweather Farm Family Horse Shows were my favorite shows of the year.

Arthur Hawkins had Shannon before Barney.

New question- who ran Shannon AFTER Barney? And what private show barn did he move to after that?

What talented junior rider was killed in a freak jumping accident at Fairweather Farm Family Horse Show? (I am not ABSOLUTELY postive it was at FFFHS, but if not there at another show in N or S Salem.)

My thinking cap must have a hole in it.

HINT - 1 woman, 3 men.
