You are REALLY testing me. I’m not sure I can answer the whole question. Let’s see… Rodney rode him, Peggy and ?
Peggy owned him and I don’t know who brought him out unless it was Cappy Smith.
I never saw him in person, although he looks like, from his pics, he was a great jumper.
I’m, sure the real Alex Trebeck would be very proud… but there are a few more questions…
What was the difference between an Appointments and a Corinthian Class ?
If you wore a Pink Coat What else did you need to carry in your pocket ?
Who wore a top hat, derby or a hunt cap?
Who wore the ribbons down on their hard hats ?
Who wore the ribbons up on their
hard hats ?
I’ll never forget the time Atrie Hawkins was walking the line at Upperville and looked in my sandwich case, asked if the sandwich was fresh ? ? When I told him it was, he walked away eating it ! I said I had another horse to ride in another division, and he said the sandwich was great & he would remember !
Oh, yes, I won the class !
Kennett Sq. Re: the pony pic. It sure looks like Junie to me .
Charlie Weaver was the rider of Superflash and Fun and Games when they did the working. Mrs. Johnson was the owner. Name the show held at her farm.
Another bump (hee hee)
Let’s go with this—
Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah & Kwaanza to y’all.
Keep eating your flax seed.
Good one showjump. The answer is, Chase the Clouds, Corsair and Calypso.
And yes Emmet, wasn’t it your aisle that Silk and Satin ran through dragging the lunge line? What a nasty injury that was!

Wasn’t Hoppergrass shown in the jrs. by Maryann Steiert?
Actually, we did meet another truck in the ice storm to swap a horse. The parking lot was so slick we ran the ramp straight from one truck to the other and led her right across. The potential for heart failure (mine) was high.
Bernie Traurig showed him in the hunters as a young horse. I believe he was champion in the greens at Fairfield just before Rodney got him.
MB Stark, you are good! The three greys were Silk and Satin, Nashville Brass and Spiff n’ Polish. All three great horses. Nashville Brass was the first horse Jane had Leslie ride, along with Roman Lyre(thanks Yellowdog). Mystic Emperor was much later. And I know exactly who you talked to today, did she give you the three?
As far as going back to FCHC, have you lost your mind? E mail me!
OK, more trivia from the equitation and GP rings (thank you to WCPrncss for the ideas!).
Who RODE Northern Magic in his 1st (only?) Medal final?
Who took care of Albany at LA Olympics (84)?
Who took care of Gem Twist at the Seoul Olympics (88)?
Who took care of Irish at Barcelona (92)?
OK Abby. The horse was a big, brown gelding by Setubal. It’s coming back. Still can’t come up with it’s name.
General C was a hunter.

I think the “D’OH!/slaps forehead” reaction has gotten quite a workout on this thread! My forehead is starting to hurt. That’s the best part.
OK- Who was the first woman to win the World Cup Finals? Horse/year?
(Insert sound of mad typing to be first to the buzzer <here>.)

Who was his famous owner, and who rode him? <HR></BLOCKQUOTE>
I think it was a woman that rode him - Terry Rudd or Kathy Kusner? Hmmm, I don’t remember the owner.
OK - what INTERNATIONAL rider has ridden on more winning Nations CUP Teams than any other in the history of the NC? How many Teams was he on to win that many?
What breed horse has won more NC classes than any other breed?
(Shorty - I know you can look these up if you are posting from NYC )
I will admit I just learned this yesterday and was quite surprised.
