Answer (sadly) to the John Bauman question of where is he now: John died — questionable death. He was one of those people who was put on Prozac and just absolutely wigged out and committed suicide while under its influence. (So I was told by a friend of his, but it is second hand knowledge. I hope I am not spreading false information. If so, please correct me immediately and I will delete/edit this post)
Name John’s wonderful junior horse who he rode to so many wins in California.
Nope, my showing and riding career ended in 1973, after my sophomore year of college, and I didn’t even get interested in horses and the show scene again until years later, in the mid-80’s. This of course tells everyone how old I really am!!

What horse jumped in Tampa Stadium as a five year old, went on to have a successful career with several elite riders of the day and was also ridden by someone already mentioned on this thread?

Juan Reuickihof? (not even close on the spelling).
The “pony” who is 15.0 is Gwynned Ask Me
The aforementioned Seven Wonder would have been one winner of multiple “hundred granders.”
Yes, the answer to the “phenom” question is SNOW. But the other answers are appropriate as well. Murphy’s Law! I learned to allow for “artistic liscense”!
Who can remember the name of Hill Top’s main driver? Hint: his son is still in the biz.
Excellent schmoe! That is just who I was talking about. Do you remember Kenny Wheeler showing him before Charlie went to work for them? Ruxton was so hard to beat in any division.
Such a smart flock! Youse guys are all correct on the riders!
Watch the sun, y’all. Maybe Luis needs to slather a little more oil
No one got the gray jumper of Katie’s that I was thinking of. One more hint: he came from Scandinavia and his name reflects it.
Michelle Mc, is this the same horse ridden by Whadayasay!'s A/O rider?
MHM, would that be Paul Valliere trainer? Now the rider/horse…hmmm
James Hulick won quite a bit on him.
Sorry Yellowdog, the answer is not Carl Knee
I am new to this, does one keep the questions up until someone answers them???

Night Murmur is the chestnut horse most often connected with Gene. He ended up at Rockbottom.
1974? Who was M. McEvoy and Mr. Muskie. Owned by Harmony Farm/Doc Severnson.
Alex, so far not enough coffee,LOL. Could it be you have finally stumped me.
Here are some 80’s GP horses that had more than one rider… can you name the riders??
Maybe
Nataal
Manuel
(this is too easy… )
If I have to explain, you wouldn’t understand…
Alex. Rodney who?
Vautrait! What a memory! I remembered the long face, not the name.
Now to THE POD question. WEF has it’s tower for the GP and Grand hunter rings announcers (and jumper judges). The DeNemethy is piloted from THE POD. The pod is the home of the BETTER judges/announcers/scoreboarders. We’ll get you photos!
W.C.P. we need somebody with a color printer!
Shorty? Answers?

So is the Mogavero piloted by the POD, too? And the other one, where they hold some Equitation and childrens/adult jumpers…(can’t remember its name)?
And, I guess I should stop posting pictures because that is probably what is slowing this thread down…but I am having FUN! And I still have MORE!
