Ok, tried to get some pics of this ES pad, but of course it’s no longer light outside. So here’s a photo on my kitchen floor and another on my cellar floor

In my experience, they are good quality. They are a bit slippery, so that is something to keep in mind. Also, there was some talk about if their logo size made the pads against competition regulations. I am not sure what the end conclusion on that was.

I love the ES pads. I have 2 dressage and my most recent is a jump. My trainer has a lot of the ES ones and she rides a good 8 horses a day 5-6 days a week. She uses a few pads each day but they all get a lot of use and are holding up really well. I think the ES is her favorite brand.

GORGEOUS!! And different enough from the PSOS Emerald to justify getting, right? Lol

Love that colour!!!

I love the ES saddle pads but have been recently disappointed in the quality of (matching, of course) polo wraps being very thin fleece that does not hold its shape well under tension. Is that just a unique experience or is there a wider issue with the polos?

Regarding the slippage of the ES pads, mine definitely does not stay in place as well as other pads I have. I haven’t ridden in the bordeaux one yet, but I rode in my ES emerald pad the other day and it totally slipped back during my ride…and I wasn’t even in a lesson, so my horse and I were not working nearly as hard as we normally do. I have a single flap Wolfgang Gemini, so I’m trying to figure out if there’s a way to somehow make the front billet attachments work or if just need to try and refashion them somehow so they attach to the d-rings. Maybe it’ll get better with more washings? I also have this problem a bit with my Kentucky velvet pads. Zero problems with LeMeiux pads or, of course, with my Anky pad because of the antislip grip.

It really is a nice color. I find the wraps are good quality too.

My ES, PSoS, and Equito (but lesser so) pads all slide back. I don’t know if it’s the material or what. LeMieux and Eskadron don’t do this and I don’t use the straps on the latter. My Schockemöhle pad is alright too.

That’s one reason why I don’t buy so many, but also as I mentioned earlier, they’re huge on my compact horse but the cob size isn’t quite right either. Otherwise the quality is good.

not to derail this thread, but does anyone have experience with the Equitex saddle pads? Made in Italy.

The new ES Mahogany Glimmer looks nice. Not sure how I’d like it on my light/bright bay, I’d have to see a few more photos when it’s launched.

PSoS also launching many new colors with their advent event. Irrelevant to me because they’re too big, but really nice to look at.

I love the black/brown color combo. Glitter isn’t my vibe though so I’m going to pass on that launch. My bank account with be happy :joy:

So one of my pad/polo sets arrived - I’ll make my coach take pics tomorrow, I loff the color so much - and the other has been stuck in an “operational delay” at Charles De Gaulle airport for 6 days. Bah humbug.

Mine too. I emailed them yesterday about it. FedEx is always the worst…

Here it is! The orchid bloom is more of an eggplant color. I don’t think it would look good on a chestnut, but it looks great on blacks and grays.

Hm. My light Bay might be able to pull it off, but I’m just going to say no…in order to preserve my bank account

@endlessclimb did you email FedEx or ES? I’m loathe to get stuck on the phone with FedEx…

ES. They messaged back promptly that there are delays in France. They said if it still hasn’t moved in a few more business days to contact them again and they’ll work with FedEx.

I love this colour!
