Equestrian Stockholm saddle pads

omg. I can’t believe that now, after reading this thread, I feel like I have to buy an orchid bloom pad! The statement that it would look particularly good on a gray was like instant enablement!

Okay. I’m weak. I know I’m weak. :grinning:

Hmmm… a sort of sparkly brownish bronze “mahogony” showed up on my Facebook feed earlier today… I think it would look pretty sharp on a chestnut…

I have a barnmate who has the showplace locker with a perfectly lined up stack of ES saddle pads in harmoniously arranged colors, with the matching boots and fly veils, all neatly stored in matchy sets. And the beautifully polished coordinating custom dress boots.

I’m slowly accepting the fact that I’m not her, or ever going to be her. Sigh…

(She’s also a delightful young woman, and a truly excellent rider and horsewoman. I’m not dissing her at all, just somewhat in awe:))

I ordered a Monaco blue pad from the Netherlands and it was handed over to the USPS two weeks ago and I’ve heard nothing since. I hope I get it someday! :sob:

Did you order from Hypostore? That’s where I got my two Anky pads from and it took about two weeks before the package “vanished” from internet tracking to get the first one. The second one is still out there somewhere. It was supposed to be delivered by last Saturday but the tracking notification now says: “Our apologies, we did not make the promised timeframe for your delivery. Keep an eye on your track & trace overview for more information.”

I just mailed a saddle pad to Wisconsin and it took about an extra week to get there, so I’m hoping that this is kind of the same situation. Shipping around the holidays is always the worst!

I just got this one a few weeks ago, but in the jumping version. I love it so much. I’m trying to talk myself out of ordering a matching jeweled brow band:joy::joy:

USPS is terrible right now. I ordered a bridle charm from Canada that was turned over to USPS. It’s been stuck “in transit” for over 4 weeks.

I’m still harassing hubby for the Equito Vivid Viola for Xmas.

But he also saw this photo on FB and asked me if I really needed anymore pads.

My answer should not have been I still have 2 more stacks to hang up, along with his jumping pads.

I do really like to PS Xmas colours, especially the teal one.

My shipments from ES usually go from Europe to the midwest and then to me (PA), it seems odd but I wouldn’t worry about it.

Here I am, with a $385 shoeing bill, and an outstanding vet bill somewhere north of $1000…and I’m looking at the ES burgundy pad thinking about how it would look so nice on the gray gelding. And of course matching polos.

I have a problem. Help me.

Yes, from Hypostore. I know USPS is having a rough go so I am trying to be zen

I agree re the PSoS Christmas colors. Fortunately they’re freaking huge and that makes me not want to buy them. I just sold one because I rode in it twice and it’s far too big and too much pad for my compact horse. It looks bad, slides back a bit, and starts to bug him because it’s basically on his ass/where his back rises to the croup, so might rub too. Of course the Christmas colors don’t come in cob size either! :woman_facepalming: it literally goes onto his shoulder quite a bit then basically onto just rump. Whyy.

How do you (and others) like your Anky pads? Are they huge? I’ll have to look at measurements. I did buy some Anky boots and they come up larger than my Eskadrons so I had to send them back :frowning:

At first glance I thought you meant that was you! And I was like, OK, let me go wallow in my uncoordinatedness now! :joy:

Slight derail but…
I have quite a few ES pads and a handful of PSOS, but for some reason, the PSOS Pro Line sit on my horse and under my saddle the best. I saw online several people complain that they were too big, but they sit quite nice on my horse, and I’d love to find more like them, but am not familiar with other brands? They are little thinner than the regular PSOS pads and ES pads and they have a nice upsweep above the withers. Is anyone familiar with these and know of another brand made similar? Because of course, PSOS never continues an item and once it’s gone, it’s gone for good. :-/
