In that article that was posted more recently, Eric L blames all those false documents on his lawyer.
That guy really does have a mental block!
His lawyer already is on the record with the answer of, paraphrased, âbullshitâ.
Comparing the two records of credibility, Iâll go with the lawyer on this one.
Plus there seems to be a good deal of outside documentation that it wasnât the lawyer.
And yet before ELâs deception was discovered wasnât the lawyer one of his great friends? Just goes to show what a miserable human being he is, throwing his formerly close friend under the bus in an attempt to save himself.
I work with surgeons who perform nephrectomies. I think they would LOVE to know about these âartificial kidneysâ
Iâm currently in nurse practitioner school, so I am studying a lot of current medical stuff. So far, no mention of even trials or hints of artificial kidneys. There would be SOMETHING in all the journals I have to read for school about thisâŠ
As someone with advanced kidney disease, I would also be thrilled if artificial kidneys were an option!
Well, there is CRRT, but no oneâs going to be competing in showjumping while theyâre hooked up to one of those. Not unless they, and their horse, are supernaturally strong and thereâs a veerrrry long extension cord.
And that is still fairly rare, and not anywhere close to an actual artificial kidney. I mean, the same could be said about dialysis!
Yes! Fingers crossed. This would be the Trikafta to Cystic Fibrosis miracle for the neuro world!
As a person involved with kidney donation I find his lies obscene.
If itâs been awhile since youâve read the lies in his own words: https://horsesport.com/magazine/profiles/eric-lamaze-talks-hickstead-health-uncertain-future/
I too remember when he was banned from Spruce Meadows and thought âgood on themâ. But I canât recall how the ban was lifted, maybe when he started riding for Canada
Has anyone seen him recently? Last I heard he was thought to be living in Miami.
Iâm not sure if this is what you are referring to, but many years ago the Southerns tried to ban him from competing at Spruce Meadows and I donât blame them for wanting to do that as they own the show grounds, however, I think Spruce Meadows was one of the qualifying competitions for a major championship (not sure if it was the Olympics or another championship) for anyone hoping to ride on the Canadian team. I believe because it was a qualifying event it had to be open to all riders, otherwise he could claim discrimination, so reluctantly the Southerns had to allow EL to compete. It was a long time ago so I am fuzzy about the details. Its too bad they werenât allowed to ban him, maybe he would have disappeared from the horse show scene years ago.
What bullshit, heâs not getting any sympathy from me, I am amazed at how easily he lies. But thanks for posting, its the first time I had read that article.
Yes basically spruce was told âallow him to compete or lose your nations cup etc statusââŠ.it was very frustrating for all of us lowly riders that could get a ban from spruce and never have it overturned by higher ups! We know their rules when we enter and abide by them no ifs, ands or buts and this felt like a huge slap in our face by equine Canada and others! Basically we were all told (including spruce) there was different sets of rules depending who you are!
Unfortunately, this is the way the world works for the most part these days
I feel like it always been like this
I second this feeling. As long as I have been alive it has been like this.
It is not something new.
Sadly, Iâve found the rule being different depending on who you are is true everywhere Iâve lived and worked.
Found this article today and it was rather disturbing but gives a good summation of whatâs going on.
