Eventing at 2016 Olympics in Rio

I’m getting NCIS :frowning:

I’m getting table tennis on the channel listed as Equestrian. ugh

Me too!!! NCIS on live stream and on USA where it’s supposed to be Equestrian - table tennis!

Jessica Phoenix and A Little Romance, first to go XC, make it home safe but with penalties (70-something…one stop and time. She took the long options).

NBC streaming on my computer is working. Streaming on my app just says coverage not on yet

Yes, streaming on computer (thankfully) is working just fine. On the app it is NCIS so I guess I’m not leaving my desk today! Quite a few refusals. Astier Nicholas just went clear with no penalties. Bad rotational fall by Padraig McCarthy, but horse and rider are up and seem ok.

Rotational for Padraig (sp?) the Irish rider. Idiot announcer says “no harm” but the horse limping.

On the live stream online, coverage was a few minutes delayed, but is up and running.

Bad fall for Ireland with the nice Simon horse. Gets up but limping.

I don’t event, so take this for what it’s worth, but it looks like the horse misread the jump- an open corner (is that the term? Two frangible logs without fill) and tried to put his hind end down inside it. Good looking horse. Stop earlier but looked like he tried to be honest about it.

Brilliant ride for Astier Nicholas.

Table tennis. Really?!?

When you try to click on Equestrian, cursor placement is key: you almost have to drop it lower.

I missed the very beginning of A Little Romance, but then my feed popped in. So glad she’s home safe and sound. What a little dynamo!

P.S. I asked my boss’ permission to watch. YAY for great bosses.

Is there anywhere we can go back and look at rides again? Like William Fox-Pitt’s dressage ride?

I’m not sure about US/Canadian coverage, but UK coverage has previous “episodes” available for viewing, as well as highlight videos of single riders.

I don’t see this as an option for US, although I haven’t looked hard. Those wanting to explore the UK option- ExpatShield is a proxy that will help you with this.

STILL TABLE TENNIS. AHHHHHHH

Ruth, are you watching online or on the TV? Try this direct link: http://stream.nbcolympics.com/equestrian-eventing-individual-team-cross-country

First 7 riders, 2 falls and multiple refusals. Man, it’s tough to be the first on your team to go.

ETA: First 8 riders, 3 falls. NZL’s Tim Price and Ringwood Sky Boy fell. Both seem okay.

I’m on the nbcolympics stream on the computer. Thanks everyone. As a hunter rider this is amazing and terrifying.

If in the US you can get on the nbc Olympic app and rewatch the dressage. The ride times from the Canadian link give a rough idea of when to scroll to.

TunnelBear is another good option. Chrome add-on makes it easy to flip on and off.

I was trying to watch on the TV but found the live stream online. Watching Boyd now but… there are commercials, really?
