As I already explained, always being logged on to a site like COTH or Facebook does not mean you are always online. It just means you do not have to enter passwords again when you come back online. You can be logged into COTH and yet be offline and your computer can be turned off.

We do have to be careful providing screen shots versus links - there may be copyright infringement issues. The question raised by the rules is: what is considered “able to be substantiated”? If he yells at the show secretary and there are no witnesses, is that proof?

I’m sure the show secretary’s word as a show official will be carefully weighed against NP’s.reputation as a hot head.

Even better if the show secretary [and anyone else in the future] keeps a written account of any unpleasant interactions with any show participant. Signed by witnesses = :encouragement:

I think getting him banned from recognized shows would be a mistake as it would feed his matyr complex. The more he rides publicly, the more his skills (or lack thereof) present themselves. I think any judge would know immediately what they are dealing with as the subject comes up the centerline.

I’d like to address one of “misstatements” on his blog. That “freestyle” was most certainly not at a recognized. It was at a little local schooling show that a therapeutic riding center (where he was apparently boarding) held primarily for their clients. There were several questionable marks on the “scoring sheet” (that he posted as proof of his score) leading to the inevitable conclusion that his claims were most certainly false.

This is a good point. One I had not thought of before.

Is letting him show and get bad scores better than not letting him show and him insisting it is because the system can not handle how great he is?

I do not understand why some feel that NP should be banned from shows or whatever… how does that help anyone or anything? Why can’t he ride and see how he actually measures up? Let him try to improve his scores. Surely not every judge can be part of an elaborate conspiracy theory created after the fact to explain away low scores… and if he decides that is the case and announces it, it is on him and no one else.
