This website is a piece of garbage? Like Charlotte Dujardin’s riding?
Yeah, you should leave this thread then and check out the ones on hurricane Harvey and Irma. Lots of compassion, lots of people helping each other and giving to strangers.
As an aside, I can’t braid to save my soul. When I couldn’t beg my sister into braiding for me I’d have to pay someone at the show. I was in seventh heaven when I got a horse that looks fantastic with a mohawk.
Nick - farm owners must certainly DO have an issue with some trainer waltzing in to their arena and conducting business when the trainer does not have any insurance. If they allowed that to happen, they would be as foolish as the trainer who thought it was not a big deal. Threatening legal action is your modus operandi. You have threatened to sue people for an assortment of reasons multiple times over the years… so yes, it seems some truly are “sue-happy and oversensitive about anything said”.
Your words.
Some words of advice - stop playing the victim. You bully and you insult and you threaten - and then turn around and whine about a lack of compassion and a hate campaign that does not even exist.
Show me where this alleged hate campaign has banner headlines and attention anywhere… is it on the main page of the COTH website? No. How about Dressage Today? Nope. Where else - USET? USDF? Is there a billboard up at Wellington or Gladstone or Devon - or Spruce Meadows or Aachen? Are there spam emails flying out multiple times a day? No - this “campaign”’ appears to be one active thread on the COTH forum - one thread out of HUNDREDS of other threads and topics. As well as some mentions on some other forums and Facebook groups. Nothing to speak of… I would fire that campaign manager.
Speaking of which - I will ask a question I asked previously - why are you so desperate to create this “hate campaign”? You seem to relish the idea and want it so very, very badly… and keep waving that banner around and shouting it from the rooftops… why? Why is that so important to you?
Why do you think you are deserving of compassion? For what? You want everything written about you from the beginning of Time to date expunged because by coming on to the original Chronicle thread with all of your lies and mistruths you exposed yourself. YOU did this. YOU created your drama by thinking that people should and would believe whatever you say regardless of the facts, which are backed up by screenshots.
This isn’t Oz, and we do pay attention to the man behind the curtain.
This is just too funny, Trubandloki has many good friends in both real life and through the internet, I am proud to be one. She is a straight talker though, says it as she sees it, won’t blow smoke up anyone’s backside.
She is also not obsessive or hateful, no matter how much you want to believe so. Most of us are pretty OK people, trying to muddle though life, and I assume that many like me LOVE the sport of dressage, and just feel sad by those who try and take advantage of those who may not be that savvy in what makes a good trainer.
My trainer, her most important quality to me, she tells me the truth, and she is realistic…
Uh-oh…making comments about people’s mental health will get you a slap on the wrist from he mods here…careful!
The moderators have already deleted about 1/3 of the posts from this thread. You should be thanking them. Seriously.
That is one of the things I totally love about my trainer too.
She is also very proud of my accomplishments, and that does not mean I have to do huge stuff. When I did my first canter test she was proud of me for going out and doing it and doing the best that we could. No, no fancy moves there, but we did round circles and straight sides … and more importantly, we tried and did our best.
Clearly the source of all the confusion. Pre-st. George would logically include everything down to training and walk trot ! Heck, I’ll go for a trail ride after work tonight and that’s part of pre-St. George, pre-everything, schooling!
Actually it’s Prix St. Georges
That’s about it…being proud of your achievements is great, scoring well at lower levels is HUGE, when you are progressing.
Bitching about poor judging because you are competing above your competence level is just sour grapes…
LOL, I actually had a judge seek me out after my first First Level test and explain that I should not be down on myself for the poor score…I assured her I wasn’t, I realized that it was a step up and expected to maybe not score as well.
I’ll let the capture speak for itself…are you going to actually ANSWER this question?
ROFLMAO, passes Scribbler the Internet Cup of the Day
Nick- Compassion and empathy cannot be demanded. They must be earned. They must be deserved. You, sir, are deserving of neither.
Add respect to the list as well
Oh, that’s rich coming from you. The one person who sues and threatens to sue everybody anywhere anytime.
And yes, you can sign a release form if you go take a lesson at someone’s barn or ride a horse once there. If you are a professional holding and event on public or private property, you’d better have your own liablity insurance with the property named and the dates you will be there. And, if you regularly go to someone’s barn to teach them there, you’d better have your liability insurance name that property.
You would know that if you had actually done any number of clinics or taught anyone.
Nick, has Paws & Rewind contacted you to tell you to remove their watermarked photos from your blog?
As to what you posted there - the photographer does not have to ask your permission to use the photos/video SHE took of you and Carpathia at the show. They are her property. She can put them on any webpage she wants, sell them to an advertiser, or showcase them on a giant billboard above the interstate. They’re hers; she is the artist.
You agreed to those terms when you signed your entry form, though such was not strictly necessary to protect her copyright.
That’s around $300 in pics you have up. The watermarks are there to PREVENT people taking advantage (“stealing” is actually the accurate term here).
Just now, on Nick Peronace!s Facebook (and I’m quoting):
"The link isn’t going to work anymore I had to delete it. The hateful fake news Chronicle members contacted the photographer of these pictures. The photographer complained to my blog host and so had them removed. I didnt delete them because the photographer never asked my permission to post them on their webpage so I just figured fair was fair. So now I’m going to complain to their web host about my picture on their website (see how ridiculous and childish this is getting).
The bottom line is, is that they reported fake news about me and wouldn’t show good photographs. They want people to believe they’re not out there, when clearly they are. And then when they saw I called them out on their lies, they fought like hell so they can continue to only show people what they want you to see! It’s a hate campaign.
I’ve said this before and I will say it again, anything you read about me on the chronicle is an absolute lie. If you want the truth come directly to me."
Nick, you said that you had to delete the photos that you stole from your blog yet you’re still posting them to your Facebook. That is still stealing. Do you understand?
Absolutely. Respect is equally as important. Given his behavior, he’s undeserving there as well.
Good Lord. And ALL the photos, the bad and the less bad, were on the photograoher’s site for us all to see. Don’t know why he thinks we only looked at the bad ones? Many of us commented they would be nice pictures of a Training Level test. Unfortunately for the mare, at Third Level they are all bad.
And no Nick, that is not “hate” or “bashing,” just an honest assessment based on numerous photos and a video. Similar to the honest assessment the judge gave you.
Re the photos, as has already been pointed out, you gave permission for the show photographer to capture and post images of you when you signed your entry form. That does not give you permission to copy them and post to your own site for your own promotional use. If you don’t wish to pay her for her work but still want to share the photos with other people, just post a link to the page on her site. At least that way she still benefits from the increased exposure and web traffic.
