And, what’s with “showcasing” a horse that is so sick that the snot is copiously running out its nose like that?
Those plastic horses in the trees and hung up by the mailbox are just plain creepy. She’s a real class act.

Pity maybe? Come save this sick horse?
That is what I thought when I saw the film.

Probably so. She certainly relies on the “pity principle” to sell horses. Then again, since all the healthier horses are broker horses, therefore most are probably not on her property, perhaps a sick one was the only one available anyway.

I like how Christy appears to be barefoot and the girl holding the horse is in flip flops. That’s shows a real horse-person right there.
high fives Oh exactly. And they’re always on horses in shorts!

How tacky. I would never put shorts on my horses.
Don’t you think if you were being interviewed on television (even for something other than having your “rescue” raided by the feds), you would make every attempt to make yourself look like a semi-sane, mostly-upstanding citizen? I mean, even if they showed up unannounced, tell them to give you five minutes so you can, oh, run a brush through your hair and put some shoes on. I try not to judge people based solely on appearances, but when everything about you screams, “I am perilously perched atop the Cliff of Crazy!”, well, that’s pretty hard to ignore.
AC4H is now cozying up to The Exceller Fund:

Just another to add to the count:

She just makes you feel all warm and fuzzy doesn’t she?? :grief:
So, now when will we hear about the same thing happening to Crossed Sabres?
Oh, please, please!!!
Does Christy Sheidy really believe the general public is dumb enough to think the FBI just randomly decided to pick on her and her rescue for no reason at all???
What I don’t understand is how does she still have supporters after the FBI came and raided her? Why are people still buying horses? As recently as last week I heard that she was still screwing people over. Taking money and not sending out a horse, or sending out a horse that wasn’t the one paid for.
Probably the same reason people still have supporters in other cases where the law steps in.
“It’s all about the horses, they still need saving!”
or
“It was all a mistake, she’s not really guilty of anything!”
or
“Somebody is just trying to persecute her for saving horses!”
etcetcetc

It’s just a vendetta on the part of someone denied adoption…
Never ceases to amaze me. Here AC4H sold a STOLEN horse…but wait, AC4H says it was NOT stolen. Here’s their response to the theft question:
AC4H Broker Horses: “This horse was sold without the owner’s knowledge, not stolen. -Sarah”
Link to Facebook post (with photo of stolen horse - oh, and the owner showed up in the thread):

Good Lord. Check out this video of above horse (POA pony mare):

Interesting…they’ve blocked me from replying on their page.
And it gets weirder:

I like how on one of those links AC4H is like, “she belongs to the broker now, we have no control!” well…ACTUALLY. If you KNOW this pony was stolen then the broker received stolen goods now that all and sundry are aware of it. So yeah…it’s something you REPORT. Not try to make a buck off of anyway.
I also like how it goes from THIS on AC4H’s page:
AC4H Broker Horses No, Shanna. She was sold by a trainer while the owner was on vacation, she was found here, and now she is safe. The broker had no idea she should not be there. Hope that helps clear things up a bit - Sarah
To this on the last link:
Thacker 's pony Jezebel ended up at New Holland after she was apparently sold from a pony ride company in Va. The pony was given to Pony’s to Go so Jezebel would have a job and Cassie said she would always take her back.
Those are two completely different stories, which one is the right one? (but either way, AC4H’s just makes them look bad)
Reading the replies, it sounds like the original owner sold her to a pony party company. The pony party owner claims that a new barn manager sold her without her knowledge (right…sure that’s the way it happened, after you’re busted).
