I took all of Louise’s time up this AM walking around the backstretch (she is most likely recovering from listening to me babble on…)
I saw KP, he was not on my list of horses to look at, but out of respect to him and all the people here, I went. The asking price is $1000. he does have a case of cellulitis on that left hind, and some pretty new proud flesh. I pointed that out and the girl who walked him out for me said the vet was supposed to drop somehting off for it today…
I didn’t see him trot- the leg was very stocked up, so it was pointless really. He had nice tight legs besides that! Really great horse, he just oozes kindness. One of the nicest eyes I have seen on a horse in a long time, a really good, honest guy. Very patient with all the other horses acting up on the walkers and the wind blowing up his pants! His nickname at that barn is “Cookie” by the way… I know someone wondered if they still called him “Pete”…
I saw a bunch of really nice horses… Dan and John, Jo Cosmo, the bay Rock and Roll horse (cannot remember his name right now… the new listing), Word Spinner… I can expound more once I get back to my desk and stop typing here in the truck… we are on our way home now with Northern Blue (he will be my new, well additional, event horse). A lot of really nice horses, I wish I had more stall space. If everyone wants more info on those horses let me know! :)[/QUOTE]
Congratulations on Northern Blue. I hope to see you bring him back here and event at Stuart HT, GVRDC and GVH HT in the next year or so. I end up cheering for most of the horses there anyway.
Dan and John is the cutest little guy and if I had the $ I’d be 1/2 tempted to buy him and send him to my trainer, Carol Kozlowski, to see if he reminds her of my little Chocolate horse that I sent her quite a few yrs ago. Chocolate had a great sense of humor that wasn’t always appreciated!
Thanks for the info on KP. And thanks for taking a look at him. I can only hope that they will consider coming down significantly in price. I simply cannot afford $1000 for a pasture ornament.

Even with the wonderful people here on the board that have offered financial help, I don’t see any hope of getting that much together.
I just have to hope the trainer was blowing steam when he said he’d send him to PR.
