COTHers always come through. I’m so excited for all of you who have taken home new horses this year.
Congratulations!

We still have a lot of horses left to place this year. Because there are so many, we have decided to reverse our usual policy of not listing any horse at a price under $600. We have warned the trainers that they need to screen customers carefully, but, we have agreed to list horses for less than that $600, and even for free.
There are some beautiful horse practically for the taking.
Carr Ride is gorgeous, and needs a new home. He’s attracted interest here in the past. Let’s see if we can’t translate that interest into a new career for this boy.

We just listed this guy yesterday. That’s an unbelievable price for such a cute and friendly guy.

Time is running out. It’s now or never to take home one of Finger Lake Finest this year.
I LOVE The Rock Can Roll. I certainly wish I were buying. He’d be headed to my house asap . So many nice ones up there this year! If only sales had been kinder this fall. POO!
The Rock looks nice to me too! There are so many nice horses still looking for homes…
Congratulations!! So glad they made it safely. I’d love to see some pictures!

“Minx” reminds me of Black Minx from “The Black Stallion’s Filly”! (I loved that book.)
Did Louie guarantee Monday? When I talked to him he wasn’t sure which day it was going to be.
Yeah he said Monday or Tuesday - hoping for Monday…
I got the name Minx from the Black Stallions Filly - love that book!
The Rock Can Roll is a really sweet horse, he deserves a super nice home. I took a look at him yesterday- nicely put together, great eye, clean legs. It was windly and cold and he stood qietly outside for inspection and trotted back and forth with a ho hum attitude. Very cool for a 4yr old, and you cannot beat the price! Someone go get him! I told him GA is nice this time of year…

Power of Music and Man of Motion are both tucked into their stalls for the night. I’m thrilled with both of them!
I’m thrilled to hear that. I’m with caryledee in that we want pictures. Remember, I fell in love with Man of Motion last year so I’m super thrilled he found a good home.
Minx is cute! I think it fits her!

She totally looks like a Black Minx! Assuming Louie gets to MI during a time I can get down to the barn (if it’s daytime Wednesday or evening Tuesday, I can be there) I’ll try and get a peep in the trailer and let you know how they’re looking!
I haven’t decided yet on a barn name for Lucky to Cope–I keep forgetting to ask if he has one, but I might end up just giving him a new one.
Anyone on the fence–Carr Ride was on my short list and looks like a total sweetie!
Please don’t call him “Lucky…” Every horse I have known named Lucky has had very bad luck!!
Pictures! of Music and Pogue
Ok, if this link doesn’t work, let me know as I’ve not shared pics this way before. This is Power of Music during her morning romp and the head shot is Cape Pogue- some of you remember him from last year. I’ll be back with some shots of Manny-- aka Man of Motion. They both got their shoes pulled today and have had a good old time playing outside.

The Rock Can Roll is adorable. Perfect “V” blaze, soulful eyes, just a cute fellow!
Carr Ride is quiet, big bodied, beautiful and, did I mention, QUIET!
And there’s still Hillbilly Deluxe who is really, really BIG and clean legged for those who need a giant mount!
Lots and lots of bargains to be had.
“Lucky” just seems so obvious…besides, it sounds like a dog’s name! I was thinking maybe Copley (sorta close to “Cope” and I used to live in Boston.)
Cape Pogue is classic, just so beautiful. And Power of Music sure does look like she is having fun! Beautiful farm you have there, by the way, TurtleBayou.

I will ditto everything Louise said and ask how Power of Music liked the beef cattle?
I wish more people would give these horses a chance…why buy a local fugly for 2k when horses like these ones are up for grabs??
I truly, honestly, just.don’t.get.it.
Me Me Anna may have a home in Louisiana if the shipping can be arranged for a reasonable amount. This gentleman recently took in a colt I had on lay-up.
Sooooo, anyone heading south either to or close to Cajun country?
BTW, I’m making attempts to contact the breeder of Karakorum Patriot, have his name but can’t get his contact info. He is a contributor to The Blood Horse magazine, so I contacted them and asked them to forward my e-mail to him. He seems to be a very caring and responsible small time breeders, so let’s keep our fingers crossed!
But what about Karaokorum Patriot? Has there been any word from his trainer?
This little dude is cute as a button…
