Sorry to be late to the party!
I am so gratified to so the response to Louise’s initial post. I don’t know who to respond to first.
I work backside every morning but have been a volunteer with the Trainer’s Listings. I “know” many of the horses you’re all expressing interest in.
Danceronice, I will avail myself whenever I can to meet your brother. That goes for anyone else who needs some assistance through the process of selecting and buying a horse from Finger Lakes.
Regarding some of the mentioned horses: Lucky to Cope is a sweetheart of a horse, one of those older class horses that knows how to behave and is totally professional about doing his job. He has a gentle, quiet presence that just melts me.
Carr Ride is sound and extremely quiet, like giddyup and go, will ya? quiet! Nice, big bodied horse.
Maria’s Treasure, like her stablemates Wing and With Spirit, is drop-dead gorgeous. I’m a sucker for bay mares, but she is nothing but all around lovely. And, for what it’s worth, her trainer is PROUD of his horses and takes excellent care of them.
The big gray gelding, Live Action, raced today and finished out of the money.
Please feel free to post or PM or e-mail me for more information and, preferably, arrange the details that get one of these lovely beasts in your barn!
