It was Bearcat buying Devil’s Whip. Not a stalker, I just liked that horse.

No, I didn’t see him as being back at the knee. I think his hoof angle needs to be corrected a bit as his toe looked a little long/heels low to me. But that’s an easy fix.
If I recall, someone shipped a FL horse to CO last year; maybe she could give you some insight on shipping costs? Louise or maunder, do you remember who that was?[/QUOTE]
I called on Rocky - the trainer Pat was waiting on someone else but said to call him tomorrow.
Anyone know anything about Live Action? There is a person at my barn who wants him…
Anyone know anything about Hearty’s Lil Sis? A woman from my barn is interested in another horse and we went out to look at the adoption barn today… really loved her and I really hope she gets her…
Anyone planning to bring someone back and heading through Buffalo who might have a trailer spot for her?
Cool Meadows,
Beautiful, beautiful horse. Who is he and who did you get him from? I’m always stunned by the success and range of the horses who come from this track. I was just at my grandson’s birthday party at his other grandparents’ house and they’re longtime racetrackers. We were discussing the improvement in racing stock here and agreeing that the quality in conformation, ability and temperament has improved greatly in only 10-15 years.
I just noticed Western Buff’s grand sire is Gone West! I have worked with many of his offspring, and all of them have had great temperaments and been very rideable. And they seem to be easy keepers; we’ve got a Gone West at the farm who currently looks like he’s carrying twins!
The temperament of FL horses is what I was most impressed with when I visited. I have been on the backside of many tracks; honestly, I saw less temperament type issues there than at any of the others I’ve visited. And the 3 I have gotten from FL have been so easy!! I’m way too old to deal with crazy horses, so I really appreciate this about my FL horses!
That lovely FL Tb is Little Dom and I bought him from Linda Dixon. He was an ok racehorse and Linda said he was trail ridden in the off seasons. He had the most wonderful brain and jump and I so didn’t want to sell him, in fact I’d moved him to my sold section but I had to sell him due to finances and annoying health issues (mine not his!) anyway. He’s by Maria’s Mon, I always have an eye out for his siblings. And that’s not me on him, that’s his new mom - I’ve never had a position that correct!
I saw that too carlydee! She’s quite nicely bred and I really do like her - she’s going to be a great looking horse once she’s grown up and filled out!
Cool Meadows, gorgeous horse! I galloped a huge grey colt by the same sire. He is athletic, kind, funny, sweet, and did I mention athletic? He’s 2 and just went to the track (I galloped him at a training cente)r, I would LOVE to get him when he’s done running. His name is Mega Mon and he is just to awesome
Ahhhh… Gone West. Those west babies make some fancy, fancy hunters!
Can you please update us, especially if you take him?
(I do not need another horse, I do not need another horse…)

Absolutely!! May also take Live Action too.
I will take him if no one has come up with the $$ for him by tomorrow.
Yes, please! Take him. Take him far away from me!
I’m thinking both horses will love new homes in Colorado!! Please keep us updated; I have thought about Rocky ever since I saw him. And I really like Live Action too!
Yea, no kidding! I was working with a Gone West last year; he was very green, but I honestly think he was the fanciest horse I’ve ever ridden! And he was so balanced…just a really nice horse to be around!

Well maybe she will have to get on the trailer too… I have probalby lost my mind.
EquineLVR, I might be getting a lead on a shipper from Lucky to Cope’s trainer, but if not, I’ll be shipping a horse west probably via I-90. If you want to coordinate with a shipper and combine a load, PM me!
Buff certainly does look like a nice gal. Good to know she has good genes too! I didn’t allow myself to go look at her pedigree. If I was able to take on another one, she’d be one I’d look hard at  IdonotneedanotherhorseIdonotIdonotneedanotherhorseneedanotherhorse…
EQLVR You have a PM
I’m going to PM you about Rocky
Could you guys please sort out Rocky’s fate before I do something crazy? Thanks!
