This is not about COTH, this is about a hurting person.

This is one of those times I feel we need to support our own. If you aren’t going to let us do that then stay off this thread and leave us be. Yes, you can and do post whatever the spirit moves you, but it’s distracting and selfish. Very.

I feel strongly after hearing from this person last week, this isn’t some vague thread. It’s about a real abuse.

The mods have told us how to proceed with Nick we are not uninformed on the polcies. Manni has been the one to shut it down, not us. We know how to follow the rules.

I am not “repeating lies”. I am just reading your posts and your own repeated words and insults.

I am not trying to make you shut up - how so? Carry on as you wish - my point was that you can make the same points without the need for rude comments and sneers.

You are doing a bad job of “defending common decency” (as you put it) when you use insults and sneers as a way to accomplish that…

You are repeating a lie when you say I defended NP. That has never happened. Never.

As I said, I have a feeling the links posted here are going to cause a big legal mess, I hope those responsible for doing it and those found to be encouraging them are held accountable.

For the record, yes I knew the OP would be posting and I said it was fine. It’s been posted everywhere by NP and I don’t care who sees it at this point, you can’t unring a bell so the truth of the saga mind as well be addressed. For anyone who thinks this makes me look bad, well so be it.

What I did was PM someone on my friends list and inform her of my personal experience and that of a friend when I saw her name brought up along with NPs. She thanked me and the conversation went on to other things. My intent was to help someone who did not appear to know the issues many have experienced with NP. I did not tell her anything that was not that of my experience or send her anything that was not factual.

She then saw fit to share that conversation with NP, 3 weeks later I received this phone call and my name was plastered all over the internet and my local GMO’s page as well. I do not have an alter here or anywhere else.

I did try and contact him via his ad on dreamhorse regarding the horse as I was interested in purchasing her. I used my personal email and did not receive a reply back.

Seems to me OP is sharing, with permission, her friends experience with a self proclaimed professional, who I now see is advertising and posting videos of himself ‘teaching lessons’ and ‘training horses’. sigh

That seems within the ‘rules’ of COTH if you ask me, to discuss ones’ experience with a horse professional.

My understanding is that the person thought NP’s behavior was funny. I suppose no good deed goes unpunished. That person is no longer on my friend’s list.

Haven’t most of you already learned that certain posters on COTH are contrarian? It’s like arguing with a brick wall. Or a flat earther. They will refuse to admit any flaw in their original argument regardless of the amount of evidence you are able to provide to the contrary. I sympathize with your frustration but you’re wasting your time. I’ve seen them defend other people who have done far worse than what NP has done and with just as much evidence.

The guy is [edit] but at least he is public about it. It makes it harder for him to hide his behavior and harder still to defend himself if a lawsuit were to ever make it in front of a judge. I don’t think there’s anything wrong per say about posting this if the person on the other end of the phone call approved of it being posted. I just don’t know what posting it actually accomplishes [edit].
