I’ve started making bridle charms for my horses. This is the first. Have to get it engraved. Will have a “B” on front and “EPF Brenna” on reverse. Will have jeweler put on a connecting ring too. Charm is a 1930s watch fob. It’s a little over the size of a quarter and sterling. So’s the clasp… I was so matchy-matchy about this thing that it took me days to source just the right clasp. I have several others in-the-works for three other horses.

I am quickly on my way to owning just about every blue that’s either been on the market recently and/or currently is.
My critter in PSOS’s blue ombré from…2020? I may also have my eyes peeled for the purple one because I decided I needed it years later. I adore the velvet trim & the fact it goes with so much of my own blue wardrobe.
And wearing Stone Blue Wave. Another pad I had talked myself out of because I don’t usually like the textured/patterned pads. But this one fits my criteria of blue/green, has crystal trim, AND I got it on mega sale. THEY WERE HAVING A SALE! (Pls someone tell me they know that IKEA commercial from like 15 years ago) It also garnered oohs & aahs from barn peeps so preens

@athelas our two would be a good pair for a pas de deux! I have that ombre pad and love it - it gets tons of compliments.
In case anyone needs some enabling, PS Sweden is running a 3 for 2 special on all their sale items. It is so tempting to grab three pads for around $100, but I just spent money a couple more practical tack items, so I’m trying to stay strong!

It’s entirely unrelated to dressage, but I changed up my matchy matchy game in combined driving when I bought a new carriage. I’m especially pleased with the boots considering I had about 4 weeks from the time I saw the carriage for sale and its Live Oak debut.
Things I’ve bought since then: shock green sun shirts (thank you tack shack) and black shirts with neon green flames running up one sleeve. Might have to switch to black vests, although the war wagon does have purple pinstripes…

So this doesn’t really count as matchy matchy since it doesn’t have anything to match yet, but I have to share somewhere. I ordered this Mattes swallowtail pad from Hufglocken on Black Friday, and it FINALLY arrived today!
