How about a matchy matchy fashion show thread?

FYI - I had that Fleecework pad several years ago and it didn’t hold up well. The velcro bunched badly after a few washings and I couldn’t get the pad to lay flat again.

Mattes will do pads without top sheepskin and I think Lemieux and Premier may have some options as well.

I’m surprised. Did you wash the pad and the sheepskin panels separately? The panels don’t need to be washed very often; that’s one of the beauties of sheepskin. I mostly brush the sheepskin off and it’s good to go. When I do wash the panels, I use leather therapy wash. Mine has held up for years now.

Yesterday I got my order from Equiture/Matchy dressage. I’d been kicking myself for not buying the peach PS Sweden pad a few months ago, and they happened to have one. It turned out to be a perfect match for one of my favorite sun shirts. I’m thinking it will look pretty fab with denim breeches. Kind of a different look on chestnut but I think it will work. I think my saddle pad stable is officially full. I will have to get a pic once I finish organizing the tack room.

@SillyHorse - I had the pad a while ago, so maybe they’ve improved. I did wash separately and always used Melp or Leather Therapy on the sheepskin.

That’s a lovely combo!

This is my favorite thread on COTH this season.:blue_heart:

The Ogilvy is barely long enough for my 18 inch saddle and big mare. Both height and width. I hate a pad that’s too small.

Huh, that’s strange.

The 2 shown in my photos are actually Ogilvy jumper baby pads (  ) because my flaps are SO short that dressage pads have another 1/2-a-flap’s length extending below my flap [and that just looks stupid ]. The baby pad still extends 1" below the bottom of my flap, and a good inch or two beyond the pommel and/or cantle (17.5").

You must have VERY long legs!!!

OH, and my grey Amore jacket is here and it’s really nice. Thanks @kaya842 I so needed to spend money    (sarcasm meant in fun, just to be clear)

My lavender coat came in, too. I love it. I can’t wait to wear it this spring.:purple_heart:

me too!!! I want!

Gorgeous combo! It will look fab on your chestnut!

What are you wearing under it? It’s a little see through.

Maybe they changed them? Or somehow I ended up with an XL? Last time I showed it was in my 18" saddle with rear gussets; that saddle occupies a lot of real estate and the length and drop on that pad is too big for it.

No, it is a San Soleil golf shirt. I bought it on eBay, so I don’t know if they’re available anymore.

I bought the dark green qhp jacket but dear matchy match friends…anyone know which saddle pad may match this?

Lemieux carbon mesh in sage green.

Edit: I have this pad and it really looks like your coat

I have this coat as well, and LOVE the color…however, it’s really more of a grayish green, and the pads I’ve seen do not quite go with the coat. I wish they did! I’ve stuck with white pads, but I think I’ll get some braided cord to add to a white pad. With the cord, I don’t think it’ll be as noticeable if the greens don’t match perfectly. I’ve thought about a black pad as well, since the coat has some black trim. If you find anything that matches, report back. I’d love to know, too!!
