How about a matchy matchy fashion show thread?

Someone else said Stockholm Sycamore Green but I’m not sure I want to gamble and try it.

Yeah, I do love that pad, and I may want one…but maybe not for that coat. I think you’d really need to take the coat while you’re looking at the pads in person. If I do end up every ordering one, I’ll let you know if they go well together. :grinning:

I have that emerald green pad and love it. I will be just putting it with a emerald bonnet and go with the traditional black coat and white breeches. I think it will look perfect on my bay with chrome.

The green will be hard to match. I was thinking a beige, tan or brown that compliments the green.

Has anyone found a white or cream show pad with a Burgundy braid or binding, by any chance?

You can Google “cream dressage pads” and get some results but I haven’t seen one with burgundy trim…which would look beautiful. You might need to customize. I like cream too and was looking for one for my bay mare.
I have finally succumbed to this thread and bought on impulse a lavender-and-charcoal gray plaid pad, which I need like I need a hole in my head. I must be out of my mind. But I saw it and it was lovely and unique and I…typed in my credit card number…

White with burgundy if you wanted to build an Ogilvy pad - but I haven’t seen cream options with burgundy binding anywhere, sadly

Thank you for that!

And the good news is… that’s CAD! So if you are south of the border it’s even cheaper

They have all sorts of styles of pads that you can choose from and then build your own.

I posted in this thread earlier a custom mattes I had done. Its white velvet with Burgundy trim and cording. The white velvet is slightly cream toned.

was it through Hufglocken? They no longer carry Mattes Pads :sob:

Anyone know about a white pad with hot pink piping around $50 USD? Thinking about this upcoming show season.

Yes unfortunately :pensive:

I think I remember someone posting about it a while back, but in the interest of not scrolling back through 600+ posts (and getting sucked into all the pretty colors again!!), does anyone have a picture of them in the Amore Moss Green jacket? It is so hard to tell the true color of something from the one product photo on their website :upside_down_face: they are on sale right now and I’m tempted…

Also, if you have one in any color, do they run TTS?

I bought the lavender and would say it’s true to their size chart. They run small compared to most brands. I would say they are a size smaller than AA Motionlite jackets and two sizes smaller than “street” sizing.

They are good value for the price, but I wasn’t wild about how it looked on me. There’s very little shape to the mesh and it’s quite thin fabric, so I thought it looked baggy and see through compared to a Motionlite.

I think that was me!

It’s slightly less yellow toned than it looks here. I have it in an XL and if I were buying it again here, I would choose to size up. Granted, I was also newly pregnant here and super bloated but still. The material is very stretchy but to avoid the duck tail look in the back, for myself I would size up.

Very pretty! It looks beautiful with your redhead horse.

Thanks! It’s almost an exact match to this old HKM pad. If I make it to a show this summer with him (post baby, of course), I’ll definitely pull it out.

@GreyDes Good to know about the sizing, typically the mesh coats are so stretchy I am inclined to size down, which I definitely won’t do if I go with this one based on your opinions

It does look great on you and with your chestnut! I think the bright trees behind you are probably bringing out some extra spring green tones in that photo. For $75 on sale it looks like it’s worth the risk…
