How about a matchy matchy fashion show thread?

I still have to test a few shirts underneath it. I’ll take pictures when I do.

Love it! Didn’t you have a Lipizzan before?

Yes, the maroon coat was originally bought for my Freestyle rides on the Lipizzan. She died in 2018.

Oh no, I am terribly sorry to hear that! I remember all your posts about her, but I kind of forgot about this board for several years and lost track of everyone. She was lovely.

It is custom by Adi Valentino Suyitno. You can find him on Facebook. He’s fabulous, affordable and fast.

My Christmas present to myself was the pale yellow PS of Sweden pad and polos… got to break it out for the first schooling show of the year. Spring vibes!

So pretty. :hatching_chick:

Love it! I didn’t get the polos, but I’m so excited to wear this set. Hoping it will be warm enough at my clinic next month. It is such a gorgeous buttery yellow in person.

Lovely!!

Finally the weather is more amenable to matchiness and dressage clinics.
PSoS Sunlight ruffle pad - I wish I could say this is a normal canter for us, but I caught a freak moment in a down transition.

I’m rather obsessed with this PSoS Peach pad and SanSoleil shirt together:

Olive/Celadon:

This one is a little hard to see, but the pad is black with kelly green binding and then my shirt has green flowers:

I am in awe of your concerted and interesting matchiness, Outerbanks

I love that pale yellow on a chestnut–didn’t think I would!

I myself have been rocking moss green on my bright chestnut. We managed matching pad, boots and my shirt today. Of course no-one took pictures.

I only have crappy pics but I tried something at a schooling show and got tons of compliments. Still not sure I could rock it with my coach there to see

Navy boots, helmet, and shad. It’s the blue breeches that I’m not sold on.

Ooh, that blue ensemble is nice but for the breeches I would love something more gray-blue. Maybe a little navy or gray-blue trim on the pad too?

That’s what I was thinking too. I like the pop of blue, but I think it would work better if you could match your saddle pad to the breeches, or go with just a touch lower tone on the breeches. Maybe a matching bonnet too, to balance it out a bit. Light blue is annoyingly hard to match though; there are like a zillion different light blues. Lovely pic!

That was my thought as well. I just have yet to find breeches with the right shade of blue that will also actually fit me.

The pad is actually a custom mattes (he requires sheepskin directly on his back), white with navy trim, navy sheepskin, and I think one of the piping strands is light blue. Unfortunately, mattes’ light blue pad color is very bright (I have one in that color). The bonnet matches the saddle pad, you just can’t tell at that distance. There is also a matching stock tie which I have no pictures of

that’s a beautifully poetic combo of colors… including your horse’s coat

Aha, now that you’ve said that I can almost see it if I zoom way in. I bet in real life that looks super!
