How about a matchy matchy fashion show thread?

I do not typically go full blown matchy-matchy, but I do intentionally try to wear things that don’t clash. I’m always disappointed when I forgot which saddle pad I have in use at the barn, and my breeches clash lol

I almost forgot about this gem. No cute horse in this photo, but somehow I inadvertently managed to look like a giant grape explosion in varying shades of purple. It was like taking Garanimals to a whole new level. :woman_facepalming:

Thank you :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:. I do too,

I ride one of mine in an Amerigo Close Contact dressage and the other in an Amerigo Cervia!

Awesome, follow me on @bossmareeventing instead as I don’t use the old one with the same user name here anymore

I just got the shirt to complete this matchy situation for a schooling show on Saturday. Now the forecast is for much needed rain and gusts to 35mph, so I might have to scratch. We need the rain so badly, but I can’t complain but sometimes I still do…

Again not the best pic :pensive:. But I really like this color. Eskadron calls it ashgreen…

Thanks for all the matchiness - I am horseless at the moment but living vicariously through all of y’all!
Many years ago I had my gelding at a barn where everyone’s stuff was constantly disappearing. Not saddles or anything extremely expensive - but buckets, polos, boots, saddle pads etc. Of course everyone had things in shades of blue, navy, black, hunter green - and the rare bit of red… so it was easy for things to just get assimilated.

I went out and hunted down matchy fluorescent lime green gear for my gelding - and neon hot pink for the filly I was also riding at the time. NONE of my stuff disappeared! If only the boots had come in the correct colors - but I used black ones and added their signature color as trim. I remember getting the saddle pads - and the girls behind the counter were laughing and saying they had a bet that NO ONE would ever buy those insane colors!

That’s me - no one!!

Somewhere I have photos of them both decked out and will try to find them… both were dark bay with very little chrome - and IMO they looked great.

Good suggestions here. BUT IMO pale pink would look way better on a still-dark, dapply gray than on a nearly white gray. I am not a pink fan in any event. Also not included here was another pic I saw of baby blue on a light gray horse.

WHERE DID YOU GET THOSE BREECHES? I covet them. I COVET THEM!

They are just the older Piper knit silicone full seats.

I had long thought the whole matchy matchy thing was a bit much but then I found Dusty Wine from PS of Sweden for my black horse. Officially a convert now
