Everyone’s yearlings look wonderful! My guy is just a year now (was a Friday the 13th baby last May), and still looks very immature. He was so fancy as a foal and still has a real presence to him, but is smallish and going through an awkward stage. Hoping I can get some good pictures of him soon - looks like he is starting to blossom again. My 2 year old on the other hand looks great!
The colt we bred Ed Venture by Escapade is doing very well his first year showing in hand. He just won his HB yearling class at The Blue Rock horse show/Swan Lake. His new owner and trainer are doing a great job with him. Waiting for the pictures from his last show. Here are some from a couple months ago. I am such a proud mommy 
My yearling is rather Yakling-ish so is hiding out behind the barn. She officially turned one this past Saturday. She measures just a hair under 15 hh.

My yearling (3/4 Connemara x 1/4 TB) is 13.3 at the wither, and 14 hd behind; expecting her to mature 15.2-15.3ish.

This is my 2011 baby, Oliver. He turned 1 on Sunday.
He is out of my TB mare and by Catherston Dazzler (British sport horse)
I have yet to stick him, but Im guessing he is right around 14hh (which I think is small!! but mom and dad are both 16.1+)

I am enjoying his baby days, but I cannot WAIT to ride him!
Unlike most of the country, we had a COLD and rather wet winter- so mine are still shedding the last bits of winter woolly-ness!
I had 2 fillies born last year on the same day, just 25 minutes apart! I can’t believe how tall they are- “Deci” by Ideal is already over 15h and Blessing by Bugatti is 14.3, both are out of 16.1 h mares. Since I am only 5’4" I happen to like 16.1 hands just fine, thank you 
Oh well, I will have to get used to starting tall babies next year, since my 2 year old is going to be 16.3+

This is our Galan-Falkland colt from last year. The vid was done end of April before he was taken to his summer field.
And here are some more: The first two popping up are Romanov-Sandro Hit and Romanov-Hohenstein (both darkbay). The pony yearling (small chocolate dun) is Talponciau Cartier
Then the two chestnuts are Fürst Piccolo-Belissimo M (stripe and 4 whites) and Gribaldi - Brentano (the Trakehner one, not the Hanoverian Bolero one). The others are 2yo’s by Sir Gregory-Rubinstein (blackbay w/ star and snip) Florencio (bay) and Wallstreet (bay w/socks). And the Welshies are Skellorn Blanc de Blancs (3yo Palo gelding o/o Skellorn Barbie Doll) and Laithehill Quince 3yo grey gelding by Laithehill Oberon.

Is there a website that list the show entries? The colt we bred Ed Venture will be there in the yearling colts class.
Yearling filly “Takenoko” by Bonaparte AA (international show jumper), out of Top Ten by El Greco TSF (international eventer) - pure TB dam line is doing very well, moves very well, still, despite butt-high"ness" and all associated yearling features. We put a tiny little pole in front of her the other day, and this is how she reacted:

Just some quick pics of my 1 year old Valentino Z filly. She is going to be a tall girl and very elegant and pretty.
My yealing Llama x goat is doing ok…she went through an absolute HIDEOUS stage where I wasn’t even looking at her…just toss grain at her and run grab the eye bleach. Went through a huge growth spurt too and started looking like a rescue case.
She’s looking marginally better now at 13 months.
In other news…ever since she was tiny she’s enjoyed popping over jumps for fun…gave us all (including the farrier) a heart attack when she popped over the 3’6" ramped oxer…backwards. She actually had pretty decent form…knees up and tight, if a bit flat due to the full out gallop headed in.
Of course…the best thing is she’s an absolute love bug, complete snuggler which did not come from her dam. Although that affection does not extend to chickens
She’s by Banderas o/o a TB mare. Last weekend she was 14.2 1/2"…thinking something in the 16.1 range (which I was hoping for), dam is only 16.0, sire is 16.2.
I was hoping to get her to some small in hand classes this year…but she needs to be not quite so fugly.

Thank you! Yes I picked him up there. He came with Moelview Charm, Talponciau Cartier and Fidra Goldfinger.
Quince will need another year before he can come under saddle so he’s hanging out with his buddies only. He knows how to lunge and he has been girthed a few times, that’ll be it for this year.
Will you go to F.O. this year too? We’re over for the RW but I don’t think they hold a sale for it anymore do they?

One of our yearlings, Grenache S by Chello III VDL out of our -niki linebred mare, Ultra-niki, is still tied for first place in the Nation in the Young Horse Series and has joined his owner in CA. No Finals for him!
A second yearling is now owned by our trainer. That is Kallanica S out of Kaiserin by the GP Holsteiner stallion Callaway that Augustin Walsh has purchased. We hear that she is pushy at feeding time so her life with an accomplished trainer and in a mixed herd may be just the thing! She waxes between chunky and elegant with the seasons.
The filly that we have retained, Cantanita S by Canturo out of our own Ahsianita m2s ( out of the same dam as Wang Chung m2s now with Eric Lamaze) also qualified for the Finals of the Young Horse Show, but will be sitting it out this year as we prepare her Auntie, Ultra-niki who also qualified for the Finals, to make the trek to Wellington. Cantanita has consistently been tall and very harmonious in her conformation, but with the typical Canturo head that prompted the judge to say," Could have a more feminine expression!" We will look forward to taking her to the YHS Qualifier in Ocala in March when we can put her through the jump chute. She has the makings of a real competition mount in the right hands- assertive, curious,brave and unbelievable naughty like her dam! Our plan is to develop her and try to place her in a competitive setting where she can fulfill the potential of her pedigree. Or keep her for our broodmare band- she brings the added power of Canturo to the natural athleticism of her dam and should transmit said qualities to her offspring.
The fourth filly, Gaijin S by Olympic Quintus out of the Ekstein x Cruising mare Bijin m2s, will be growing up in Europe and attending the keuring there as a three yr. old. Plans are in the process of being finalized. There are pros and cons to having horses in Europe, not the least of the cons being the paucity of photos! A trip across the pond is a definite “must” in the near future.
The Crown Affair filly, Sakura Hill La Czaritza out of Sakura Hill Czola, is tall and elegant as always and is maturing in the hands of her owner.
