TaTa Tatonga gave Carl the address for the local FBI office.
The email that was from my real email address (the one Carl originally called me at) did give my physical address as anyone can google it from my email address.

This is better than any reality TV show.
I love how they also all have these marvy names – Carl, Paul, Steve. So funny.
Congrats!
I think the FBI should hire the amazing Amwrider to be their Agent in Charge of unraveling all of these scams.
Of course, then she could have her alias, Agent Ta Ta Tatonga- can a movie career be far behind?
Serendipity!
What a wonderful coincidence that Cousin Steve stays at your location! So much easier for Paul to get to his lessons.:lol::yes:
Don’t temp Paul with the ta tas- “He’s a fresher”.
I know this is a scam- but I would die laughing if I came on one day only to find that Mr. Owen’s son showed up at your farm ready for his first lesson:lol: LMAOROTF… wow
Keep us updated with the emails!
Milocalwinnings! :lol::lol::lol:
Update:
I have been stringing him along on my meal email. What do you think of this?
Thank you for your prompt response and your readiness to tutor Paul, my son,.I have visited your website and am impressed by the information therein. Paul has elementary education and speaks good english, he is a fresher (a beginner), just enrolled for two weeks with the other teacher,I mentioned this in my first email., so he is a fresher. At the moment I want him to learn how to ride for 6 months, thereafter we shall know what next line of action would be, but definitely he will go further.Paul is ready when you are and I am equally ready to give all my support.I spoke with a teacher in Brugge Schulle Farm he would suggest 30 mins.,thrice a week lesson for a beginner like paul, so I want us to settle for this as you have also advised.

I want to believe this is the location where the training shall be taking place,as I have already told Paul about this and he is ready to start, I have equally sent it to my Cousin Steve, that stays in your location and he said to me that it is ok, he shall be driving paul to the lesson and will be picking him up after each class; he is presently out of state to Australia and he should be back any moment from now and will come together with Paul for the first lesson.I am impressed by your description of yourself as a teacher and would be glad if you tutor my son.Yes, I want to believe you are the type of teacher for him at this level. You will not only teach him how to ride but will also be his role model, I hope you understand what I mean, as in helping to give him a good shape based on your experience.

As for the price, please let me know the total amount for six months (thrice a week),cost of equipments and the name to write on your check, and the address to send it to .I guess a US bank certified check is alright.Paul will be ready to leave the moment am able to conclude this arrangement with you, that is finding a good teacher for him.

Like I said, I am presently living in Belgium due to work, I travel a lot and would like to conclude the whole arrangement before Paul would come down, only Paul would be coming down and will stay with my Cousin Steve. It is good for me to send the payment to you from here, as soon as I have the details from you I will do just that and Paul will commence with the lesson immediately. You can reach me on +32485718853 should you have any question(s).

Looking forward to receiving your swift response.

Thank you so much for your email and I am pleased that you have got my payment. Paul is ready to leave, but I just got back and realised now that my wife sent you more money, the money that is meant for Paul’s travel expenses, so this is what you are going to do, deduct cost of the lesson and send the remainder to our Travel Agent that is arranging his travel. You will send the money to their head office with MoneyGram money transfer, just deduct the commission of MoneyGram and send the remainder in two portions to the Ticketing officer and Accountant in order to expedite the processing.

Here is the Travel Agent’s Details:

Name: Anthony Gordon

Address: 314 neckinger estate, bermondsey , london United Kingdom SE16 3QD.

and second officer:

Name: Sander Crouch

Address: 6 Cube House, 5 Spa Road , London United Kingdom SE16 3GD.

These are the details you need to send it with MoneyGram money transfer service, just go to the nearest money gram agent and give them the money in two portions after you might have taken out your lesson fees and give them the names and addresses of my travel agent as the receivers.You are to send the following details to me after sending the money,which you will find on the receipt that will be given to you by MoneyGram;

1. Reference Number

2. Sender’s name

3. Sender’s address

4. Total amount sent (pay out money)

Upon receipt of these details, I will forward it to my travel agent and Paul would be able to leave here tomorrow at latest.

Best Wishes,
I will have to find out where there is a MoneyGram office around here and if they are open on weekends.
You mentioned in a prior email that Paul would be staying with a relative here in the states. Before Paul can ride, I need a signed waiver. My insurance company requres these. You can print them from my website under the “Summer” page. There is a link at the bottom that will take you to the forms. I will need parent’s signatures before he can ride. Please either send the forms with Paul, or mail them over to me.
Thank you!

your area. Deduct the commission of MoneyGram, which is the cost of sending from the remainder .

Carl, I just got back from the MoneyGram office and I was not able to complete the transaction.
I do not kow what to tell you, I am so embarrassed. I did a very stupid thing. A couple of days ago I received an email telling me that my First Union bank account was compromised. I did exactly as told and was thinking that my assets were protected. Apparently all of my assets, including the cashier’s check you sent me that I deposited on Wednesday, have all been taken from my account. All of my hard earned money is gone.
I don’t know what to do now. How will I feed my horses? How will I pay the rent on my farm? I am caring for my homosexual uncle who is infected with the AIDS virus and has no health insurance, how will I pay for his medication? How will I get you your travel money for Paul?
I am beside myself right now and don’t know what to do. My rent it due October 1st and there is no way I am going to be able to recoup this money in time. I just don’t know what to do. The MoneyGram person that told me my account was empty said that I must have fallen for a “scam” email. Who ever heard of such a thing!
I just don’t know what to do at this point. Give me some time to think and I hope to have a solution.
The check is obviously a fake. The back of the check even says "Security features on this check include a micro print endorsement line, watermark and visible fibers. --none of which are visible on the check.
He has also called me and left two messages. His phone number comes up as “unavailable” on my caller ID so I haven’t answered them and have let them go to voice mail. I think he also just called me again as my phone rang with an unvabailable number again. He didn’t leave a message and is calling back again right now as I type.
What should I do next? Tell him that I am going to go work for Tammy TaTa Tatonga? Should I tell him I am ending it all and commiting suicide?
Have you gone and reported him yet?
I really can’t believe people fall for this… sigh
But this is definately hilarious. I think TaTa Tatonga should email and say that you have sadly have been put in jail because of all of your bounced checks, but she would be more than willing to take Paul in - since you were SO excited to be able to teach him. I’m sure TaTa would be more than happy to help provide the world with more TITs.
OK, this is what I sent:
Carl, I am much calmer now and have my wits about me. I have come to the conclusion that I now am worth more money dead than I am right now. My life insurance policy should be able to provide for my Uncle and will be able to recoup your lost money. I just have to make sure it looks like an accident. My family will have to take over the horses and ensure that they have good homes. I know what I am going to do and I have a plan. I must go now as I have to do this right away before people start showing up for their lessons this morning and I want to have time to say goodbye to the horses. If this works, you should have your money back when the policy is settled. Goodbye.
So, this scammer is left thinking that another scammer got his money and that falling for the scams have resulted in my taking my own life. :dead:
Do you think he will have any remorse?
Look, if you need some money for your hompsexual uncle, we can always have an auction. Perhaps you could offer up some riding lessons? I mean, if you can interest people from across the globe, you must be a top notch trainer.
Kill yourself. If I had a homosexual uncle with AIDS and couldnt pay for his meds, I’d be devastated.
Sorry, no real uncle.
He tried to call a few minutes ago. I have a plan if he calls back later when customers are at the barn. I am so crossing my fingers that he does because the “police” will answer and tell him I was murdered and at this point they are treating everybody as a potential suspect, including him.

OMG…THAT is funny.
my condolances on your demise
Edited to add…on second thoughts be careful of impersonating a police officer…that might come back to bite you nastily.

Who is he going to tell?
“Im trying to get some $$$ from this woman and I find shes impersonating an officer!” Arrest her.
Amwrider, you should give up horse and rider training for joke writing. You have a great future as a stand up comic on the horse banquet circuit.
You are hilarious. ROFLMAO
I was thinking of the problem of impersonation so we would be careful on that, No other calls though so he either assumes I am dead or realizes he was found out.
You couldn’t go through with it - having hugged all your horses goodbye.
Ask him for a donation - in your time of difficulty!
Maybe you could re-home your horses with him?
