That’s what my husband is saying. I think he might have a heart attack when he sees the mortgage payment, as that would be about $120k more than the house we are under contact on, which is a bit under budget.
I also think both my husband and his boss are completely out of touch with how much the boss’ house with worth in this market. It’s in a desirable area and neighboring houses have been selling in the millions lately, we can’t touch those prices. I’m not entirely sure the boss realizes that from the info that has been relayed to me. I have a feeling when they are close to listing it, someone will clue them in. While the boss is willing to give us first crack, I don’t think he has any interest in giving us a great deal.
