Kylie Jenner buys $200k pony hunter for toddler

I’m a little worked up by this. Excuse the political rant, but just a couple of days ago a young congresswoman was called an obscenity in the halls of Congress by a fellow congressman. Inexcusable. Women are always belittled, even by their embittered sisters.

No matter what you think of KK and family, at least KK persuaded the POTUS to enable the release of a wrongly accused black woman. I call that using your platform for justice. I personally don’t have that ability. Maybe Kylie will follow her lead as she matures.

Closer to our COTH home, Rev Dr. Parker has purchased many famous, beautiful, expensive horses and ponies and usually gives them a forever home upon retirement to her jaw dropping farm. I don’t see anyone calling her names and trying to belittle her on this forum. People curious about the source of her wealth, yeah.

End of rant.

pretty pony, BTW.

Stal Wilten’s website shows the pony as being sold in 2015, so I agree with you - more likely than not the pony was bought from someone in the U.S.

I seriously doubt this pony is headed to a show ring carrying a Kardashian at any point in its future. Kylie lives for Instagram and I feel confident that this pony is going to be an IG photo prop until the kid gets bored and then it’ll be off to a new home. Who cares how much she spent or if it even has a show record? Kylie has gobs of cash and probably wouldn’t even know what horse show terms mean anyway. It’s a cute pony with a cute name. That’s what she paid for.

What an adorable pony! Lucky kid. Seems like a sensible “extremely wealthy” person purchase. I hope the kid gets to enjoy her pony and do all the silly things kids should be allowed to do with ponies (and that ponies should be allowed to do with kids).

Is Kylie Jenner at all savvy about horses and the horse market? I’m thinking not if she paid $200,000 for this pony. Not that he isn’t adorable, safe, and very good at his job. He is all of those things. But so are a lot of other ponies that look almost identical to him and don’t cost near as much.

I know she “can afford it” and the money isn’t an issue to her. But I still feel like she got taken advantage of simply because she’s famous/wealthy and maybe not the most savvy when it comes to horses.

To each their own though. I’m sure the seller is thrilled (to say the least), and Frozen will hopefully have a good life. By the time the kid is old enough to do any real riding, the pony will be in his 20’s. Maybe he’ll pack her around a shows for a couple of years. Or maybe she won’t even want to ride and show, and he’ll wind up as a pet. Or maybe they’ll decide to sell him. I doubt they’ll get anywhere close to $200k for a 20+ year old pony who has been out of the show ring for a few years.

What do you know?

Maybe they have trainers, riders, and might go to shows… Never heard of leadline classes?

She’s a business woman, so I assume she knows how to read and can comprehend some words put all together…

Be an Ocasio-Cortez, not a Yoho.
( @CornishPixie that’s the congress woman you were talking about. )

@OTTBs : yep, wrong name. Thanks.

Dude, chill. She doesn’t go to horse shows. She documents her entire life on social and she would have definitely shared that info. But yeah, business people know what all the hunter show divisions are just because they went to business school. Sorry, I forgot I also took those classes when I was working on my business degree. I dgaf what she does with the pony, honestly. But based on her mo, it’s going to be nothing more than a photo prop.

:lol: Good point, I have a feeling that however much money you have the REAL horse addict is always two steps away from disaster

Who cares what they paid for whatever? Is everyone happy - buyer and seller? Yes!

Just out of curiosity, I checked results on the USEF website. If I was looking at the right 17 year old gray small pony gelding by that name, he has plenty of USEF results in this country going back five years, most recently about a year ago.

Side note. When did USEF start including the entry’s back number from each show in the results?

How stupid is she?? She spent a way way way smaller percentage of her income on a pony than I spend monthly on the same.

Why does anybody care what a celebrity buys or does if it isn’t something dangerous? $200,000 relative to her income is probably less than me paying $2500 for my horse. People spend way more relative to their incomes on luxury items every day. Nobody cares. Nobody should care. As long as the also pay for a knowledgeable person to look after the pony and it’s safe and well cared for, sounds like a pony’s dream come true

I assume my own words, no problem. You seem to assume a lot about me, such as that I am jealous of someone whose main claim to fame (I think) is that her dad successfully defended a famous murderer. I assure you I am not; safe to say that weeks pass without me sparing a thought for any of them. I do not comprehend celebrity worship.

Kylie Jenner’s father is Bruce Jenner, the Olympian.
Her mother, Kris, was married to the late Robert Kardashian, a friend of, and attorney for, OJ Simpson

To me, the only one in the family who earned the right to be famous is the Olympic gold medalist. But I guess times have changed.

I’m no dude and I don’t need to chill…

Clearly, for someone so well versed in others’ life, you should know Kendall is showing…

It took me like what, a second to find this…

I really don’t understand the outrage nor the hatred.

Don’t you guys have nothing better to do?

Oh so… You’re allowed to assume stuff about others, but others can’t assume stuff about you.

Ok. Double standard.

I do not comprehend hatred and disparaging others just based on the fact they have money, are successfull and somehow famous.
