Kylie Jenner buys $200k pony hunter for toddler

Seriously. Kylie and Kendall are not the same person. Kendall shows. Kylie does not. I know they’re sisters. You’re incredibly angry over such a trivial thing. Did Kylie steal this pony out from under you or something? You were weirdly angry on the thread about Kim’s friesians too. Chill out. I said I don’t care what she does with the pony. I’ve said it at least twice now. Read for comprehension and then maybe go outside because the internet seems to be really triggering you.

No, you’re not. I said back on the first page that from the pony’s point of view, he hit the jackpot. He’s going to get great care, do minimal work, and be completely spoiled. Will he probably show up in Instagram posts? Sure, but doesn’t everyone’s horse? Also, if you were ever going to buy one of those faux unicorn horn things and take pictures, this would totally be the pony to do it with, because OMG it’s adorable.

I’m no huge Kardashian fan, and I think that the alleged price is ridiculous for a leadline pony. But as a percentage of income? Kylie sold a majority stake of her cosmetics company for $600Million. As a percentage of income, that makes even the alleged purchase price an exponential fraction of even what I paid for my own horse, as a percentage of my personal income. She can afford it, and it seems like multiple family members have horses in some capacity, so it doesn’t seem unusual to want a pony for her kid. I hope her daughter sticks with it, and enjoys her lovely new pony.

Let’s be honest, if we had that kind of cash we would be spending it ten fold because we love horses. Who cares. I know a woman who spent about that on a horse 15 years ago and she doesn’t even show.

Who cares. If I had that for a disposable income I’d have ALL the pretty ponies and a pro worthy barn to boot! Just. For. Me.

@JustTheTicket in your posts about not caring you seem to take issue with who bought the horse for some weird reason.

I literally do not care that she bought a pony. I’m happy that this particular pony seems to have won the gravy train easy life lottery. That other poster (and you) seems to think I do. I haven’t said anywhere that I care. I just said she’s not likely to show it. That doesn’t mean I’m upset about it. I’m just saying that she’s probably going to put her kid on it a few times for insta posts and then it’ll spend its life getting fat in a field and there are far worse things that could happen to a pony.

You seemed to have really strong opinions about what exactly they were going to do with it. Instagram or shows who cares? You’re defending, along with others, a really weird position. Who cares? They bought a pony. I’m just curious why you and others freaked out over it. It’s not like horse sports are all pure. Some one owns a horse!!! ZOMG!!!

You clearly care for whatever reason, as do others. Why?

Read. For. Comprehension. How is me saying anything in the post you quoted me “ freaking out”? I’m glad the pony is living an easy life? OMG. I’m defending what, exactly? That she bought a pretty pony and will take pictures of it? She probably will. That’s her brand. I don’t recall saying there was anything wrong with that. In fact, I’ve said several times, that there’s nothing wrong with it. All I said was she probably won’t show it. Maybe she will. Maybe she just likes the idea of having a pony and she only wants to pet it and feed it treats. Maybe she just likes the idea of a pony living on her property somewhere and she never wants to pet it. That is wonderful for her. I’m sure she has people caring for it regardless and if/when she no longer wants it, it will find a suitable home. People are allowed to own fancy show ponies and not show them if they don’t want to. She can just live her life. As I said before, it’s a cute pony and that’s what she paid for. Again, I’m glad the pony found a nice home. For god’s sake, chill out about this.

Your rant actually doesn’t make any sense in the context of my posts.

You seem to be awfully triggered by nothing here. Why are you so angry? I hope you feel better soon.

I’m not triggered. I feel no emotion towards this. If I misinterpreted your posts my apologies but you are way too emotional over this topic and/or a miscommunication.

I literally laughed out loud. You misinterpreted everything I wrote. Someone is over emotional here, but it ain’t me.

On top of that, someone will likely land a really well-paid gig as a groom or pony manager. I’m pretty sure there was a celebrity assistant in the early 2000s making like $100k being someone’s umbrella person. Hopefully, a great horse person will get a killer job being paid handsomely to make sure this pony is sparkly white, well-maintained, and tuned up for if/when his new rider wants to hop on.

Kylie Jenner is worth $1B so the pony cost her something like 0.2% of her rapidly increasing net worth. I spent pennies on my horse compared to many horse people and she still ran me way more than 0.2%. You dont take your money with you when you die so enjoy it! Having celebrities get into horses has great potential for increasing awareness among the next generation and giving equestrians more platforms.

And I apologized. So I guess it’s obvious who is being all emotional. No skin off my back.

They also seem to have a business together and it would be normal that they talk to each others, and that Kylie go to see her big sis riding, isn’t it?

I find it quite ridiculous to say she knows nothing about horses… Like she would tell you everything from her private life - Because despite their virtual social life, they sure do have a private life that’s not on Instagram. Don’t get fooled.

Well, I’m not the one who’s assuming whatever she’ll do with that pony according to her supposedly « mo » you seem to know so much about…

What I don’t tolerate are people like Mara who disparage others for absolutely no reason.

What I don’t understand are people like you who assume people are automatically clueless just because they are rich and have some sort of stardom… You saw their life on TV/Internet = you know them?!

I wouldn’t take Kylie’s side if she had steal this
pony from under me… Whatever you tried to say there just doesn’t make any sense…

Oh, you can also refrain from stalking while you’re at it… Take your advice to yourself and enjoy your horse.

Exactly! And why should we care how she spends her money, its her business. Maybe the toddler just pointed to a picture of that pony on her iPad and said I want that one! Most of you posting on this forum would spend that much in a hearbeat if you had Kylie’s money despite your denials to the contrary. I’m so tired of the petty jealousy towards those who are more fortunate financially.

Who’s denying it?

I hope the pony has a nice life with them, with good care. I did not know the sister rides, so hopefully that means somebody involved will know enough to make sure the pony is in a good situation, not tied to a tree in the back yard or whatever.

Cute pony. Besides people with a lot of money tend to spend a lot of money. One person’s $200 is another’s $200,000. I hope her kid enjoys him.

Who am I stalking? You sound completely unhinged.

It also occurs to me that this is probably a fancy, expensive show pony that won’t be killed by a too rapid injection of Mag Sulfate by an unscrupulous pony trainer. <<<That’s a good club for the pony to be in.

Piggybacking on someone’s post above; given the demographics of Instagram, wouldn’t it be great if this led to more pre-teen and tween girls being interested in ponies? Wouldn’t that be a good thing for our sport?

The only thing I’m jealous of in this whole thing is the little girl riding the pony in the video! She’s really sharp, very well taught, and oh-so-serious about her job. I’ll never ride as well as she does, and that makes me kinda sad. But both the pony and little girl are just too cute! $200K cute? I guess it’s just like with anything else, he’s worth whatever someone is willing to pay.

🙄 Yeah… Like you’re remembering an old thread I had forgotten…

Okay, I just finally caved and looked at the picture of this pony. He is absolutely adorable. It doesn’t matter what they do with it, he’s adorable. And the child is very cute, too!
