How is pointing out repeated factual discrepancies crossing the line???
I am not calling anyone names or attacking them. When they post something that doesn’t make sense or is clearly untrue, I point it out. I am not forcing anyone to repeatedly make obviously untrue statements on a bulletin board either so it is not like I am pursuing them or harassing them. I should think the person who is repeatedly lying is crossing the line.It is a total scam but with emotions, not money.
And wasn’t it you who spent several pages of COTH internet repeatedly accusing me of tax fraud and unethical behavior? There was no amount of patient re-explanation and no number of other posters piping in that my situation sounded completely legit that appeased you. The difference is that you were making allegations about me and refusing to stop, I am merely questioning OP’s contradictory statements that no one is forcing her to make.
If OP posts a legit pic of this horse that is demonstrably not stolen from the internet I will gladly be convinced, eat crow, apologize and question her nevermore.[/QUOTE]
Really, you find that objectionable, after you spent pages harassing me and would not believe any explanation I gave why we participated in conservation programs as intermediary to contractors doing the work the government requested?
You kept, in your ignorance, trying to make a federal case of it that we had to be doing something wrong and would not listen?
I don’t know if this poster is a troll or not either, but I would not go harassing her over it with innuendo and beating her over the head with it for pages.
Ease up on your hot horse, be sensible and ask questions without browbeating.
That really works better if you really want answers.
If you just want to use her as just one more victim to pounce on to dump pent up whatever drives those that do so, well, it does make those posters doing so look bad more than if she was a troll.
I try to keep my peace when some do that, but if they keep that up, there comes a time where speaking up is best, to remind those that tend to get a bit out of sort that they are doing so again.
OP, I hope you realize antagonistic responses are not about you or your horse for some, but a way to grandstand themselves, you the prop.
If you truly want to learn more, are not trolling for kicks, don’t defend yourself and/or respond to digs, but keep on topic.
I would say, if you can, get a vet to look at your horse again.
It took our horse with fistulous withers several months before all the swelling went down and he was where he could be ridden, once the acute phase was over.
He was fine after that, so give her as long as she needs, don’t push it if it is still bothering her.
If we had tried to work with him while he was still sore, he would have given us trouble.
Fistulous withers or evil poll, bursitis caused by some bacteria, brucellosis a possible and worrisome one, both can be very painful problem for a horse, like a boil in a bad place, that hurts every time you move.
If she is still sore, have the vet look at her again, the infection may not be completely cleared yet and is trying to come back.
