Both Brady, and Lisa’s Tale got public airing at their sale. So, easily learned about. Lisa’s Tale was a big girl, so may not work out so well on the track. Some of these big’uns take forever to figure out where their parts are.
NTB worked 5f on 5/6 in 1:02.36 (Belmont)
Lisa’s Legacy worked 5/7 4f 48.20 (Keeneland)

I have been following. After his first two work outs post return, there was a hiatus. But on 5/14, he ran his 3rd post hiatus w/o at 49.99 for 4 f.
Have been following LL as well.
Still silence on Lisa’s Tale.
NTB making his long-awaited return in the 8th today at BEL… 5/1 on the ML. It’s technically a class drop for him, but it’s a salty field of stakes caliber NYBs. Will be a tough challenge first time off the bench…
In all that rain. NTB is up next.
Awful finish
NTB was cooked after a half mile and was eased in the final turn. Ugh. Hope he’s not injured.
Disappointing. I realize it was raining hard, but…
NTB NEEDS the lead. If he doesn’t have it, he throws in the towel. He basically ran the same race as his Gotham.
Lisa’s Legacy has been working extremely well at Keeneland, and will make her debut going 5F on the turf at Indiana Grand on 8/25…
LL is still owned by her breeder, KatieRich Farms, and is trained by their head trainer and president, Mark Hubley.
Thank you for that post. Now tell us what is going on with NTB. He has not done a workout since 7/25, 2 weeks after his last race.
I have no idea why he hasn’t worked in a month, obviously could be any number of things.
But I see in this article from May that he had throat surgery over his extended break, with the hopes it would “help him”. It sure didn’t for his comeback race…
Sometimes it takes a couple of races for a horse who have had throat surgery to improve, they need to realise they can breathe. I have seen that working with horses who have had throat surgery.
Lisa’s Legacy wins first time out! And she had a lot to deal with… trapped on the rail, had to put the brakes on a couple times in traffic. She was finally able to get a full stride going in deep stretch and pulled away. Very, very nice. No question she wants more distance.
And she’s a big, beautiful girl, just like her mama! Noticeably bigger than her race rivals…
She’s gonna be fun to watch.
For those of us who have been following and do care about this, Who is her daddy?
I’m waiting to see one of the people who have been posting on here or even lurking end up with one of these young horses.
Hard Spun.
Nice! Thanks!
Can anyone get a link to the race video?
I tried very, very hard, and failed. Hope someone else can do better.
Indiana Grand has race replays on their site via Trakus, but for some reason there’s no video replay for the 5th race on the 25th. Every other race has video except the 5th. There was no race incident, so I assume it must be a technical glitch.
That’s one of the great things about having access to an ADW, all replays are easily available.
