Maclay finals

Has anybody knocked one of those little logs off the top of the ASPCA wall at all?

Not that I’ve seen but I didn’t watch the whole first round.

Override the distance and get there deep.

It’s really pretty remarkable how cooperative these horses are most of the time.

Huh. I always interpreted it as early being long and late being too deep.

Learn something new every day.

Late would be long, e.g., you made your move too late and thus, had too big of a gap at the fence.

Hi I’m just putting references in now so I think I’m allowed to watch

Come sit down and have some popcorn, there’s an opportunity to hand gallop in this round.

Funny to think that the jump from the Invitational is at least ten years older than any of these kids jumping it. Lol.

Man, I love that brush staircase jump. That’s going to create some beautiful photos, I bet.

Thought Sterling had a runout there and then just realized I don’t know the course, but that turn will hurt her quite a bit.

Just a little hesitant this round.

I edited my comment with the link to give you the course map too, if you didn’t see it earlier. The horse also did not know the course. He thought he did.

Those blocks are uggo.

The blocks are as ugly as the staircase is pretty.

If Brian just jinxed someone with that comment about the Rainbow Brite 2.0 combo, I swear…

No, they’re designer. Gucci.

I stand by what I called it earlier, Rainbow Brite.
