Curious about Caspian blends and your TB/Caspian. Can you post a photos of her and family and her pedigree? How big was the TB mare and the Caspian stallion? Are her babies ponies?

I have a BRP x WB -14.1, great lines top and bottom. I plan to test breed. Dam is 14.1 1/2 (a twin), BRP sire is 13.2. He is high energy and very athletic. He was injured when starting in training and again while rehabbing so never under saddle. Loves to free jump.

Is anyone interested in a small, very refined TB mare that has already had two beautiful large pony babies? She is free to a good home.

Her first colt by JLA Sir William is currently showing in the pony hunters and was champion pony at Ludwig’s Corner last year. He is still showing in the greens and also showed on the line.

Her second filly is by Falling Moon Merlin and is a yearling. She is the sweetest foal I have ever had.

The mare is dark bay, four socks and a blaze. I can email some photos. She is easy to breed.

I am only breeding warmbloods now and need to find her a home.

I have her papers, but am headed to Thermal for a show today and can get them when I get back. She has not been bred before but does have very obvious heat cycles and no health issues.

Tall TB mare available for free breeding lease

I just acquired a lovely TB mare from a friend who was having some financial difficulties. I’d like to keep her but am low on space, so she is available for a free lease as a broodmare. She is 17.0 hands + and is a pretty mover with a nice flat trot and rolling canter. She is a quiet and sensible mare with good manners. Her pedigree includes Deputy Commander and Alydar. She is plain dark brown with a good frame and big feet. She does ride well but seems to have a lingering “something” in the hind end. She enjoys trails and is sound enough for hacking out. She seems like a nice cross for breeding hunters or dressage foals.

Lovely Tb mare available

Yamema is a 95 Tb mare approved into the MMB of GOV. She has had 2 colts for me by Fabuleux. Both have super temperments and lovely movement. The older colt sold to a home to be a hunter and the younger colt looks like he will make a lovely hunter or dressage horse as well. “Mya” is 16.1 and a dark bay with a white star and a small bit of white on her legs as well. Both colts have stripes and 3 white legs. She gets along well with other horses and is super easy to handle and very sweet. A super mom and easily gets in foal and foals out easily. Looks like a warmblood and moves well. Was ridden in her earlier life but has not been recently. Looks great for her age and has no health problems. Would love to find her a home but would consider a breeding lease close by.

Elegant proven easy young TB broodmare for short- or long-term situation

Bred by the same outfit that brought you champion show hunter Gray Slipper!!!
Available and ready to breed for the 2013 season –
“Red Headed Girl”, Blaze as I call her, is a black (well, registered JC “dark bay or brown,” but, for goodness sakes, this mare is Black!) 8-year-old Thoroughbred mare. She is by Scarlet Ibis (Cormorant/Cornish Prince) out of a Saint Ballado/In Reality mare.
Blaze was broken but the death of her owner-breeder when she was ready to go to the gate, and subsequent changing-of-the-guard with the adult daughter taking over the racing/breeding operation, meant that she was ‘retired’ to the breeding shed early. She was bred at 4 and has had a foal per year since, including two for me.
Blaze was given to me winter 2010 when the owner-breeder’s daughter dispersed the remainder of her dad’s bloodstock.
The mare produced a lovely TB filly in April 2011, a pretty and correct seal brown filly, with a perfect star + strip. I showed “Nickelodeon” twice on the line here on the very competitive Virginia hunter breeding circuit last summer and she was first both times.
Blaze delivered perfectly, on time, without fuss. Nikki has been a joy to raise and she is a handsome yearling, measuring to mature (string tests) at 15.3+. Blaze is 15.3 and a touch.
I bred Blaze back to a (sub-fertile) Cleveland Bay stallion here in Virginia, live cover, and she caught, easily, on our first try. She teased easily here on my farm, just using one of my geldings, saving me lots of $$ of checking follicles. She was easy to breed (she and her filly hopped on my trailer like professionals, shipped quietly to the stud farm, the mare winked and flirted with Mr. Stallion, stood like a stone, bred and off we went!)
Blaze is an easy keeper, great mother, turned out with mares/geldings, mid-pack, and spent the summer-fall-winter raising Nikki and growing her CB cross foal.
On Friday April 13, she easily delivered a strapping big bay (may shed out a bit darker) filly, small star (well within CB breed standards) I am calling Katty. She has tons of milk and continues to be an excellent mother.
I am offering Blaze for a seasonal, or more, breeding lease.
I need her here on my farm to raise her filly, but she can go to her new farm (in foal, if you want - I am in Virginia hunt country, near many very good stallions for live cover or AI, and practically next door to a state of the art repro clinic that can AI any stallion from anywhere around the world. As can my own personal vet, a renowned practitioner.)
I estimate Blaze can leave here Sept. 1-Oct. 1.
The free lease term could be for a year (finishing out her pregnancy and raising the foal through weaning) or longer as desired.
Blaze’s Thoroughbred foals (all except this last one were registered Tb’s, and all were colts!) have hit the track and one is a winner in New York.
She is suitable for producing anything - from horses for the track, to TB sport horses, to x-breds, to ponies. Blaze produces straight, correct, refined foals. She has a particularly lovely head/neck and has reproduced that in both foals I have here.
Look on my Facebook page (friend me - Betsy Burke Parker, Flint Hill, Virginia) to see lots of photos of Katty and Nikki. Both foals are exceptional not only for their sturdy good looks but for excellent temperaments.
My website has direct contact information.

Lovely Wolkentanz I mare for lease - Sonoma County CA

She is Wolkentanz I, 16h dark bay - lovely mover, temperament, etc I would love to find someone who would want to breed her so I dont have to sell her  Please PM for more info! On site lease - or local only. Must have references and be open to site checks etc.

Beautiful Canadian Warmblood mare by Beach Boy.
Lovely 8 year old mare by Beach Boy out of TB mare. Beach Boy has proven to be a very good broodmare sire. Mare is a lovely mover and jumps well with a lot of scope and elasticity. She is very pretty.
Mare is petite at around 15.2/3, she has had one lovely filly by Apiro. That was her first foal and she settled on one dose of fresh and foaled easily. She was a very good mother and nursed my other mares’s foal occasionally too. Apiro filly is very special, spectacular hunter mover and very nicely conformed. Filly is 16hands at 2.
I want to retain this mare because I am so in love with the Apiro filly but can not breed her this year since I have to breed my older mare for one last foal.
Would want off-farm lease to experienced sporthorse breeder only, in Western Canada.

14.1h Half-welsh are by Farnley Belshazzar. 13yrs old.
Oakley had a foal quite a few years ago who is a great little pony hunter, she is wonderful to handle on the ground, good for the vet and farrier and is fat on air.
She is a 10+ mover and jumper but is just sitting around here and my sister doesn’t want to ride her anymore (or see anyone else ride her… :frowning: )
She is located in VA

Confirmed Pregnant This Morning!!!
Beautiful mare! Hope you find her a good temporary home :)
Thanks to the Chronicle of the Horse Forums we found this mare, leased her and as of this morning she has passed her 14 day Preg Check! She is now in foal to one of our BWP Stallions Jett B and is currently busy munching on 50 acres of grass.

Thanks to everyone involved, she really is a lovely mare.

Looking for Broodmare to Lease – Florida

I have a client looking for a broodmare to lease for this season. She is located near the Tampa area. I will vouch for her care/custody – she currently has one of my mares on lease that just foaled and she is breeding again. She is looking for a second mare as the 2nd mare she was going to breed needs to take the year off per the vet.

She is looking for a H/J type mare that would be bred to my stallion Richard – registered warmblood that would be either approved with or eligible to be approved with either KWPN or BWP registry. Any color is fine, height over 16 hh.

Feel free to PM me and I will pass the information to her as she does not post on here.

Edited to add: we are looking for a mare already located in Florida or very close.

TIA
