Mare-sharing--free broodmare leases!

I have a really lovely 16h 12 yr old bay sabino TB mare who is approved premium with CWHBA (could be approved with others I’m sure)
Currently in foal to Balta’Czar and due in early June.
Would be willing to facilitate breeding to stallion of choice and could be on or off farm lease following weaning. She is for sale as well.

I’ll be ‘foaling out’ myself in August so attempting to downsize slightly until I can adjust to life as a mom!

Gorgeous broodmare prospect, MD - PLACED

2005 TB mare (JC MrsClausAintDone). 15.3 dark bay. Lovely mare, gorgeous conformation with huge shoulder. Sweetheart in the barn. Injury has prevented her from having an athletic career but will make a wonderful addition to a breeding program. Available to a good home, would rather not lease. PM for pictures and more info. Located in Maryland.

ETA: Ellie has found a new home, thanks!

I have a gorgeous 2007 Balta Czar daughter who is available for breeding lease or sale. She is located near Missoula, MT. She just last month had an absolutely exquisite Sir Gregory filly, (her first) and took on the first dose. She is a VERY easy keeper, has the most beautiful feet I have ever seen (has never worn shoes), and lovely conformation, topline and movement. She was injured as a yearling so has the beginnings of arthritis in her rh fetlock joint. I’d like to place her as I am no longer going to be breeding.

Proven A Circuit Hunter & Broodmare available in NJ

Walkabout is a 16.2 3/8 1992 KWPN mare by Aram see full pedigree here: http://www.horsetelex.nl/horses/pedigree/151727 She is a proven 3’6"+ hunter (has shown in everything from adults, a/o’s, jr’s and regular workings) and has won classes at every major show on the East Coast including, but not limited to, WEF, Hampton Classic, Lake Placid, etc. She is a fantastic jumper, great mover, scopey, huge strided, correct, and has a HUGE heart and mind of a saint. She has had 2 foals, both by Just The Best. Those foals are a 2009 filly which belongs to me, and a 2011 colt that belongs to Spy Coast Farm. Both of her pregnancies were textbook, she took on the 1st breeding both times and delivered both foals exactly on time w/o any complications and was a great Mom to them both. She also delivered both foals at 10:30 PM! How civilized! I took the 3 yr old filly to Westbrook (CT) a few weeks ago and she won all her classes and Best Young Horse under 2 separate judges (both judges separately told me after the show what a lovely horse they thought she was). This filly is big, very easy going and sweet. She was very easy to back, has a great work ethic and is a fantastic mover. Have not free jumped her as of yet.

Spy Coast’s vet, who’s care she was under last year when she was leased to them, doesn’t think her age as indicated above is correct. She thinks she is actually quite a bit younger but who knows. Mare is currently located in NJ and an excellent home with excellent care and references is a must.

Here are some pictures of her and her kids:

If my funds were unlimited, I would absolutely breed her again for myself, unfortunately that is not in the cards for me right now. She has been my truly special once in a lifetime horse and if her '09 filly turns out to be 1/2 as nice as she is, I will be thrilled! So far, the filly has exceeded my every hope and expectation.

Please send all inquiries to rachelsuna@gmail.com as I am not on this site very often. Thank you.

10yo true 17h dark bay Oldenburg broodmare. By popular sire Alpenstern, successful sire of dressage horses and hunter/jumpers. Out of a TB mare.

Very sweet, kind mare who passes a great disposition on to her foals. LOVES people and gets along very well with other horses. No vices.

Had a Contucci colt in 2011 that was absolutely stellar, we are keeping him as a future UL dressage prospect—Very blingy chestnut colt with four stockings and blaze . Open since then as we’re cutting back on breeding. Temperament for amateur but talent for a pro… He’s truly special. (He’s a keeper!)

Mare is in great condition, open and ready for breeding, lives out or in. Offered as a broodmare. Email equiamoore@yahoo.com

Might be helpful to point out that her half brother, Santa’s Playboy went to Rolex this year and is an advanced level eventer.
Wish I was closer!

Are you offering for breeding lease? What is involved?

Going to post again, really hoping to get this mare leased still this year Cost is $275/month (includes feed, farrier, deworming, etc.), or I might consider a local off site free lease. No need to pay it until mare is confirmed in foal with a heartbeat. References available.

kwpn 2002 17.0 broodmare by Iroko/Girona-Pion

My mare needs a year off to recover from some chronic ligament injuries. I’m considering breeding her myself unless someone would like her on a free lease. She showed hunter baby green before her ligament injury and over the last two years began schooling dressage, training level 2, showing Tr.

Hafl![](nger Mare NY/NJ

For lease: 14hh haflinger mare, nine years old, great granddaughter of Afghan II (1990 World Champion) and Nordwind. Beautiful mare, a stunning representation of the breed.

She is lame (no ongoing treatment) and has been approved for broodmare duty. She did foal in October of 2011 (a late baby & she was a maiden), she was the best mother our barn had seen.

Her lameness may improve, she only needs time and turnout.

She is not AHR inspected- she simply would not pass as her lameness does affect her gaits.

Pictures of her and her boy (Haflinger/Gypsy Vanner):

Hi,
I’m interested in a TB or warmblood mare on the West coast, preferably CA. Looking for a small, athletic mare, 16hh or under, with good movement and a scopey jump, suitable for producing an event-type foal. PM me if you have or know someone with a mare that you think might fit the bill. Thanks!

BWP TB and Hanoverian in Ohio

I have two horses I am considering free leasing for this breeding season. I know it’s a little late to be starting, but I thought it wouldn’t hurt to list them here and see if something works out.

The first mare is a 10 year old TB who is Belgian WB approved. Played polo and jumped 3’6, has stifle issues now that prevent her from continuing her riding career. She is 16 hands, maybe 16.1, and is a nice mare! She has great feet, and has great ground manners. Has had one foal. She is dainty and would be a great cross with something a little heavier. By Coax Me Chad (L’ Enjouleur) out of a Native Royalty mare. Could breed sport or race babies.

The second is an 8 year old Hanoverian/TB mare who is 16 hands and big bodied. She has a slight lameness in a front leg that only shows up when she’s in regular work. She is a nice huntery mover who can also get big and lofty and dressagey if you push her on. She is a super easy keeper and has good manners. Never bred before. By Guarantor out of a Judge JB mare.

If anyone is seriously interested, I can provide lots of photos, video, etc…

My lovely mare is available for lease to the right situation. She is Wolkentanz I, 16h dark bay - lovely mover, temperament, etc I would love to find someone who would want to breed her so I dont have to sell her  Please PM for more info! On site lease - or local only. Must have references and be open to site checks etc.[/QUOTE]

btw: i decided to breed my mare myself. So she was bred to a GRP for 2013. She may be available for breeding lease next year.

I have a 22 year old, 17.1H daughter of Zeus out of a Goldstern mare that I would like to free lease into a northern climate. We are in Florida and the heat plus the outrageous price of hay is making it hard on her here. She is old and does have cysts, but she has gotten in foal for me very easily and has fantastic foals. One of her boys just passed his stallion inspection and received the highest jump scores of any horse presented last year.
Here is her pedigree http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/goldessa6 and a video of her at age 17 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q6qBwn2lkXA. I’ll be happy to send more current pictures to anyone interested. You can also see pictures of her other foals if you like, on facebook. search for me: sunfirefarm@Gmail.com

Mare for ET

I have a 1990 16’3 1/2 Hanno ( by Freedom Z) mare that is a great recip mare. She catches frozen embryos first time. Easy to live with, she likes to live outside. Gets along with horses.
She wouldnt be good to breed to herself, as she has EPSM and passed it on ( as it is genetically linked) to her son that I have out of her.
but for the ET baabies she is perfect.
Ready to breed this year.
Located outside of Toronto, thanks, imajacre@total.net

I am bumping this up as I really need to place this mare after her filly is weaned. To the right home I would consider giving her away. She was an RPSI (silver premium) foal, and now, together with HER foal, will also be presented to Gov this coming August.

Alla Czar mare

I have a 7-year-old 16.3 bay mare by Alla Czar, out of a very successful jumper, well-bred TB mare. She’s huge strided, and very scopey through the jump chute. Great, typical Alla Czar canter, and an athletic, decent trot. She’s a big, pretty mare. She had a beautiful foal by a TB stallion last year, who was bred and is still owned by a Grand Prix jumper rider. Easy breeder, good mom, sweet to deal with, can live out in a broodie herd, and is barefoot. She was injured when she was being broke, and is not sound to ride, but is perfectly comfortable as a broodmare. She is branded Oldenburg N.A., but her papers got lost through ownership changes. I have spoken with the registry, and I believe it’s possible to get duplicate registration papers if someone wanted to put in some leg work to get all the paperwork together. I have too many broodmares, and am looking to re-home this useful girl! She’s free to a great home! She could produce hunters or jumpers, depending on the stallion you choose!

Looking for recipient mare for 2013 season

Looking to lease a recipient mare for the 2013 breeding season, breed not important as size and temperament. Looking for a laid back, easy breeder: will live at a professional dressage farm in Rhode Island. Looking for the lease around March next year. I will be breeding rather large warmbloods, 16.3 ish for both egg donor and stallion- would like to stay as local as possible to Rhode Island or tri-state area. Please email if you would like to get your horse least out early bpedro@infinata.com
