And I am rather disgusted with USEF that it hasn’t taken action against her for weaponizing SS in this manner. (Well, I’ve been disgusted with USEF for a long, long time but that is another story.)

I think there are a lot of people who hold this feeling! It is too bad that USEF just keeps walking around with their head in the sand.

Maybe we should all contact USEF to ask them why they are dragging their feet on this situation. If enough people contact them they will hopefully stop ignoring it.

She reported him. He reported her. He shot her. It gives credence to her reports. Now if he had evicted her with the 3 day disorderly conduct (which per people who claim to know takes a little longer because there is a wait time to get a judge to sign), obtained a court order, had the police escort her off premises with the court order, and filed a restraining order against her, called the police if she showed up again so they could then actually legally do so, he could turn all that over to USEF.

Instead, in the downward spiral of bad decisions, he decided to ruin her chances of competing at FEI level, filed reports with non law enforcement agencies instead of anything that would help him.

This was tit for tat, a great competition of who could make the worst decisions. I suspect the civil trial jury may see it that way too.

The USEF is not going to get itself in the middle of a bunch of craziness that goes on in the real real world, or even horse related stuff outside shows unless it results in an arrest/conviction.

I’m sure it would look much different if they were counting words instead of numbers of posts.

Lots of people make multiple brief posts, while others write extremely long diatribes in an attempt to convince others of their extremely misguided ideas. So it feels like those long posts account for much more of the thread.

I was referring to the initial deal for two horses and the apt.

The details on the deals for the next two are murky. Maybe Jay-T was purchased with the promise he could live on the farm for free? So he could get the &40,000 purchase price? The bartered renovations for the fourth horse?

If at any point he did not want to enter these additional deals to keep her or train more horses, he could have declined the additional deals

No they are not as far as I can tell. This is just LK having one of her blowups. Likely out of frustration with the progress of her other civil suits.

In order to start a libel lawsuit you need a cooperative lawyer who thinks you have a good chance, deep pockets, and then you have to get the case accepted for trial. Number one, you need to prove that the statement about you is wrong. If the other party has written proof its not wrong, then you don’t have a case.

LK is likely blowing up to try to “send a message” to chat groups and maybe SS.

Up to the Barisone incident, LK was moving among mostly marginal damaged possibly other addicted people, and only briefly among functional people (around horses). The functional people got her out of their orbits fast because they can smell junkie cray cray white trash chaos and hate it. The more damaged people didn’t, and this kind of fake “I’m gonna sue” rubbish is often used as a threat at that level of society (junkie cray cray white trash). It’s next door to “I’m calling the cops because you parked in front of my house.”

The law adjacent posturing is a real giveaway someone is uneducated and ignorant because they don’t have the scope to understand how stupid they look to the rest of the world. It’s always telling when folks are in a chat here on COTH and are gobsmacked to find out there are posters who are high level competitors, horse pros, real vets, real lawyers, etc. They just assume everyone is an adult beginner with no professional accreditation, like presumably themselves, and don’t have the basic knowledge base to tell when they are chatting to someone who knows their stuff in a given area.

According to Twitter she started posting about how 48hrs got it all wrong about Oct 20th (you know, on old comments about the episode) and there are the ones about suing that are currently 4hrs old. So middle of the night last night.

The only sort of “rivalry” between the two that ever made any sense would be for romantic attention from MB. Frankly, it’s always come across to me that there was some jealousy aspect of this nature swirling around somewhere in the back of LKs head.

It must be hard for poor RG to realize that he might not be the apple of LK’s eye.

I do believe that is correct, when the mods delete large quantities of posts their post count goes down.
I left one day and they were ahead of me and without posting over night, poof they were behind me.

I have come to the conclusion that I have been looking at this all wrong for so long.

Hut and CH just really want to make sure the thread is not quiet, like it gets when they do not post, and that the facts about what was done to Michael are not left behind and missed by someone. They are giving us all the opportunity to post/repost the facts about the whole situations. Think about it, if it was not for them and their creative posts we would not be able to remind people of Finish the Bastard or the Manifesto or how Lauren Kanarek lies about just about everything (admitted to in court) or the more recent events like the contempt filings against Jonathan Kanarek ( @Inigo-montoya ) and Kirby Kanarek ( @Seeker1 ) or the weird way that Jonathan Kanarek sent an email to the judge in the civil case that his daughter filed. The list is endless of the things they allow us to state over and over and over again so we are sure that everyone knows what the Kanarek family is up to or has done in this situation.
