MB CIVIL SUIT UPDATE #10 K’s Request to Adjourn (delay) DENIED 11/01/22

Something I’ve been thinking about today - LK made a comment about the IRS and whoever was funding MB’s defense (IRS doesn’t care as long as you paid $$ on that income you’re using to fund a case). Living in fire country you learn where there’s smoke there’s fire - but in LK’s case its usually on her side of the property line. So what I’m wondering about - if LK is claiming loss of income - unless her “income” was below the minimum income criteria, she would have filed taxes, right? Which would suggest that all of her claims of loss of wages can be verified. If those wages were not verifiable at the state or federal level, but she still made claims of substantial loss of income, then a certain someone may have to explain that to the IRS.

Before people take me the wrong way, no, I am not claiming LK has or has not done anything correct or incorrect regarding taxes. I just found her comment to be very very odd and it had me wondering.

This.

And you get extra points for using the word “gauche.” That’s the perfect adjective when it come to this whole practice, if someone actually does have “unlimited means.”

Yes, tax transcripts, payroll records, and bank statements showing deposits are all used (usually in multiple forms) to substantiate both the prior income and the loss of income coinciding with the incident in question.

I would think for the civil trial, because she is claiming loss of income, if not already, Silver and Deininger are going to be asking for her tax returns. Probably going back several years.

I almost tagged you and another person as those who verify for themselves what is said here and then you misquote me. I said I was overqualified for discussions on this forum because I look stuff up on google and verify it for myself. There is a lot of puffery about legal knowledge and psychiatry on these forums as you well know and the information from those who claim such credentials can be good and can be very biased and sketchy. You are quick to correct me when I’m wrong. I always respected that about you. Now I’m disappointed. FWIW so you probably don’t care. Oh well.

Yes. There is tons of smoke swirling around her whole financial situation. I don’t know why. But I am confident there is something about the entire situation which has been kept private all along.

That’s quite interesting. LK doesn’t actually typically hold cards close to her chest. She reveals a lot. Or talks a lot - sometimes spewing significant untruths for one reason or another.

But she’s pretty darn guarded about her finances… other than the declarations that she has “unlimited means.”

Her discipline regarding not revealing the source of her finances in all her online chatter? It is notable in and of itself.

I decided to take a walk through various social media sites as so I could accurately respond on allegations made here that only on COTH do people assert different narratives other than MB shot LK. I wanted to see if my memory was failing me in that the general public believes firmly that MB took the gun, drove to the house and shot LK. To my memory, I saw the same theories as here on all SM.

So I’ve been looking about and I was SHOCKED to see a totally NEW assertion, one I’ve never even seen here before.

In this assertion it was JK who shot JR, I mean who shot LK and the framing of MB was staged. This assertion was tweeted to 48 Hours. I have no idea if/what they will do with that.

I’m hesitant to post it here lest there be a brouhaha but will if asked. Or I can send privately. I find this assertion somewhat volatile, hence my caution, though it is already out there for the world to see.

Wanting to comment on the work schedule of judges.

I don’t know anyone in the main criminal. Court system but I do have a couple of good friends who are effectively judges in legally binding tribunal systems.

It’s a job. They have a lot of freedom but are expected to responsibly clock their 35 or 40 hours per week. Within that work week they have hearings assigned, and on the other days they read documents, prepare written reports on past cases or ones that don’t need a hearing, and research precedent as needed. They might on occasion go overtime one week and pick up paid time off the next week. The workload is intended to be doable with serious attention.

Obviously there can be cases that are more work or back logs in the system.

But it’s still a job, meaning you do noone any favors by working until midnight every night and burning out. Also you have multiple cases on the go, so you are not nearly as fixated on any one case compare to the plaintiff and defendant and their teams.

Criminal judges get clerks to do a portion of reading and research, and I assume the civil court judges do too. My friends on tribunals don’t

Why mention it at all? Are you accusing JK of a crime? It sure seems that way.

It’s entirely possible that her father has a shell company that “pays” LK a living income to her bank account, for which personal taxes and other things are filed by him and that could be enough to get her health insurance and the Suboxone she requires. Legally, it would be acceptable, as far as the IRS and tax system goes, but I don’t know if that would hold up in court as legit employment, for the purposes of this civil suit. As far as what’s out there, there’s nothing that says LK has ever held a long-term, verifiable job or generated an income and she herself has occasionally made differing statements and questionable claims about to the source of her money and who gives it to her/how she gets it.

Why do I remember something from looooong ago that LK won the lottery while living in NC?

Maybe it was just someone’s speculation, but I remember that nugget being dropped very early on.

Allegedly has to be in there. And probably Sidebar in the center, in honor of our equine friend on the state seal keeping an eye on Judge Taylor from the wall in the New Jersey courtroom.

You have a weird way of looking at things which is not quite right.

I am plainly stating that someone other then myself posted a comment in which they plainly assert JK shot LK. Plus there’s more.

I believe she denied it right up until she was on the witness stand in the courtroom, giving sworn testimony.

Or at least, that’s the first time I remember her admitting it. She certainly denied it up and down endlessly here on the BB.

Interesting.

Any recollection on how long ago she supposedly won the lottery? Like… within the last 7 years?

There was an old local - NC - news article or something that came up in search engines with her name and the search engine summary text had a bit about an unclear “someone” winning the lottery and what they were going to do with the money and it had the word “fiance” in it, but it couldn’t be accessed because it had been removed or lost or deleted.

Honestly I hate to disappoint people. I think letting someone know you are disappointed in them is one of the harshest things you can say to someone. So in a sense, yes I do care.

But if you noticed, very few of my suggestions are absolute quotes. Including yours. I did not have time to go back through 1000’s of posts to get direct quotes.

HH, there are some things I have agreed with you about. There are other things that I have disagreed with you.

I certainly have my opinions on the issue being discussed. And if I can add a little something at times, yea me. One of the things about me, I love to “try” to make funnies out of things. I tend to be sarcastic, a bit of a smart ass at times. And sometimes, what comes up comes out. Not always my strong suit. It’s my humor. Horse people, we be weird. Sometimes I succeed, sometimes I fail. That is life.

Thanks for the past respect, sincerely. But I have nothing to prove here to anyone.
