Darn honeymoon and who pays for it (for the record, no one in my world had parents pay for the honeymoon), this is a weird tangent

The weird tangent was created by @LexInVA, who claimed that the other Kanarek daughters had to go “begging, hat in hand” to pay for their honeymoons.

How on earth would she know this? It’s probably just another made up, nasty, remark (AKA lie) designed to smear the Kanarek family.

How does the wealth or poverty of the Kanarek family even matter for the supposed topic of this thread? It doesn’t.

A simple Google search of the sister’s respective names had turned up the donation pages and there are public online data search places that can show piles of collated information, including what vehicles and property are associated with a name and address, because that data is collected whenever paperwork is filled out for various reasons and that data is gathered and sold en-masse to other companies to use with marketing and other things. It’s a Big-Data world we live in now.

Sounds like cyber stalking to me.

LK would constantly accuse others of stalking in her posts on the forums. I found it incredibly ironic since she did have an actual history of stalking and harassment.

To verify my thinking, I searched the forum for how many times LaLa mentioned stalking, including accusing others of stalking in her posts on COTH. She mentioned it in 14 different post.

Just taking note at the irony and the uncanny resemblance.

Half halting myself to other things now.

I find “researching” someone’s “digital footprint” by using the paid people finder services, and following them around on all SM platforms intrusive, creepy and obnoxious whether it’s LK who does it or @Sdel or @LexInVA.

I can well imagine LK would post accusing others of stalking her. That’s what it looks like to me. In this instance I’m asking how you can justify stalking not just LK, but her sisters.

Maybe Daddy the wasn’t ever the actual source of the funds that LK uses to support her horse hobby. MAYBE the money comes from somewhere else

Lk has claimed (adamantly) that the money is hers. Could be an inheritance, could be a lottery win, could be a payoff from another lawsuit, or a big insurance settlement (wasn’t she in an auto accident some years back), or savings from former employment (I know some scoff at the idea that she ever “worked” but there have been statements here and there that she had been employed in the hospitality industry at one time).

And I am a bit in shock to learn that her sisters were crowdsourcing funds to pay for their honeymoons and houses. I mean - Whiskey-Tango-Foxtrot? Who does that?

I thought part of signing for your lottery winnings is agreeing for your information to be used in advertisements.

That varies by state. In my state, I can hire an attorney to set up a trust, collect & deposit the winnings and no one will be the wiser about WHO won. The business that sold the ticket gets some sort of payout, but they don’t know WHO won either.

Reporting child abuse while there is no proof of child abuse is a false allegation of child abuse.

OK, that statement is a little too black and white for me. I think a person can report a suspicion of child abuse in good faith, and then have it turn out to be unwarranted following an investigation from child protective services.

However, I certainly don’t think that was what happened in this particular case with LK.

So true! Anyone here thinking LK is not a master of “research” is a fool.

These folks on their high horses who criticize others for researching, investigating, paying attention and possibly paying their own money for investigative reports on anyone they so choose seem to ignore the cyberstalking their heroine does.

The two primary antagonists on this forum might consider taking their manic defense of LK, the meaning of the verdict, their pseudo-facts about the events of 8/7, etc might have better luck on other chats, such as YT and the 48 Hours Twitter, persuading others to come to their side of logic.

A honeymoon fund is NOT what an upper-crust “unlimited means” person would do. People I know in that echelon would find it extremely gauche. The only type of gift or donation encouraged at those level of weddings is a donation to a reputable charitable cause that is dear to the bride and groom.

So while a honeymoon fund is not begging for money, IMO it is certainly not something a family with unlimited coiffers would do.

I don’t know that I agree. I know some extremely wealthy people that have both accepted gifts and accepted donations. We’re talking private jet, island owning wealthy. I also know wealthy people who have set up honeymoon fund type registries. In fact, I gifted one of them a couples’ massage.

I’ve posted a lot about cyber stalking, but I certainly haven’t denied that others in this situation do it too. I don’t condone anyone stalking someones posts every minute of every day and reporting it back to others. Watching their whereabouts, reporting back to others, posting it online, posting everything they do online, using multiple social media accounts to simply blast hate a person non stop, etc etc.

Regardless who is doing is, it’s not cool.

Not everything has to be BUT LK DID IT TOO!! We know! Why does that make it ok then? It shouldn’t.

Yes, tax transcripts, payroll records, and bank statements showing deposits are all used (usually in multiple forms) to substantiate both the prior income and the loss of income coinciding with the incident in question.

Interestingly, LK stated in response to the document request that she could not provide proof of employment, as such documents were not in her possession.
