He plead guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of less than 50 grams of Marijuana. It could have been more because of the plea bargain, but that’s what he pled guilty to and got a conditional discharge and probation. Whomever covered his costs paid about $800 in fines for it.
According to the court records, the prosecutor’s office whacked it away about a month later, so no real punishment in the end.

In Oct 2009 here in NC he was charged with assault on a female and resisting arrest and one other something. Then the very next day he was charged with another unknown.

2) he has a serious anger control problem.
Incredible. I know lots of people get in trouble in their teens and early adulthood but most learn from their mistakes and mend their behavior. Here is another shining example of no accountability or consequences = continued behavior.

Perhaps because 16/17 year old boys are more likely to be tried as adults than 16/17 year old girls?
Some states such as mine differentiate between male and female ages for certain teenage court filings. Usually it’s a one year difference.
I’m not saying looking up public records or publicly posted wedding registries is a crime.
It is a violation of labor laws and fair housing laws to use some types of information available on the internet as the basis of hiring decisions or offering to sell a house or lease an apartment.
I’m saying that if you find extensive “research” into someone’s “digital footprint” disgusting and nasty when LK does it, just be consistent when @LexInVA or @Sdel do the same thing.

The police did not take her concerns seriously either. It is so sad that a young person was ignored about something so scary and dangerous when they were brave enough to talk about it.

It seems a violation of the civil rights of a 16 year old male to be treated differently from a 16 year of female for the same offense.
This is why I don’t bow down to “legal professionals”. They sometimes come out with absurd statements like a male is a minor until age 16, while a female is a minor until age 18.
