Its interesting - true crime, lawyer coverage of ongoing cases, etc - are very popular and followed by millions of people worldwide. For example, there’s an entire podcast series about the Murdaugh murders (I think it might even be called that). There’s the Darrell Brooks trial that is currently is progress and is heavily covered by news organizations, podcasters, streamers, and regular people on various forum platforms on the internet. If we want to look at non-criminal cases, there’s the Britney Spears civil case. The point I’m trying to make is that public trials draw the attention of the public, some of whom then go on to do further research and either just discuss it with others on a platform like COTH or discuss it somewhere monetized. This rush to defend and hide information like criminal records (if that’s the appropriate term for incidents that have or have not been discharged? Maybe someone can correct me) for LK and RG is odd to me, given the scale at which this happens, across the world, every day, for other cases.
I’m explaining that’s it’s nutty statements like that that cause me to discount what you post. I don’t doubt that you have decades of service as a court professional.
They’re not charged differently on the basis of being male.
If a minor is charged as a juvenile, they are sentenced to a juvenile detention facility and are automatically released at age 18.
Therefore, minors committing very serious offenses are usually charged as adults if the predicted sentence upon conviction is substantial. Exactly the same for males and females.
Far more serious and violent crimes are committed by males than females, hence your statistic.
So if I understand correctly, in the state of California girls are more likely to be granted probation than boys for assault/battery while boys are more likely to be granted probation for drugs/alcohol/mischief. While boy/girl convictions of felonies occured at the same rate, boys were far more likely to be sent to adult prison or DJJ.
The Traders Assoc. is open to traders and those who support traders within their respective firms. Could be risk mgmt , compliance, legal or operations. So no not necessarily a trader.
So, what Lauren is saying I guess is that her income was interrupted because she was shot? So,what, Daddio on the Patio stopped paying out dividends to her for, what, two weeks when ge was in the hospital? Or longer? When did he start paying her again? He didn’t pay any expenses on her for a period of time? How did this loss of income work? When did he start paying out again?
I think LK added loss of income not because there actually was a loss of income but because she or her attorney or both thought it looked good as they expected to settle. I think they thought it would add to the winnings without having to be qualified.
I think they thought worse case scenario they would just withdraw that part of the complaint.
I also suspect JK passed his Series 7 in NY so he could deal with selling or trading stocks rather than practicing law. And most those guys have titles like Vice President or Assistant VP. Which means there are 1000 VPs in such a firm. Just a hunch on my part.
If anyone is curious as to the disparity of juvenile/youthful delinquents/offenders here is a guide.
When I tested and worked in such a court was awhile ago but at that time a kid of 8 could be charged with murder but nothing else. As age increases so do the number of charges that can be charged. Degrees of crime also come into play. So an 11 year old is not going to be charged with Burglary 3 but might be Burglary 1.
This is why drug sellers often use young kids as lookouts or to transport drugs.
Additionally, in my state things change if it’s not a first offense. It’s very complicated and changes constantly so every test on law given in my state concentrates heavily on juvenile delinquency and youth crimes, the courts involved, the charges and the penalties.
But most of her posts are desperate and unwise. She rants and rages and sneers and undermines her own case over and over again - for years now. When she was just focussed on this forum, many of us urged her to stop posting as she was only shooting herself in the foot (when she managed to get it out of her mouth) - but she did not care. We suggested the same thing to KK - for the same reasons. But she did not care either. 5D chess, I guess.
I think it would behoove some posters here who seem to think this is the only place there are any negative opinions of LK & Co. to get out to other sources like YouTube etc. where this has all been discussed and excised on a much, much bigger scale and stage. It might be a very eye-opening experience for them - and it is not cyber-stalking or whatever other lame excuse may be used to justify ignoring what is Out There.
Another note on juvenile cases: Usually many JD cases are sealed if they were adjudicated in a Family Court. Criminal Court cases usually are not. If a case comes up in a search it’s because it hasn’t been sealed.
When a former “arrestee” would apply for certain jobs with FBI, police or other such jobs that department would send investigators to the respective courts to thoroughly review the cases. Even civil cases or landlord tenant. I used to help those people all the time. So for a young person to not have a sealed case is a big deal as far as future employment prospects. The decision on where to prosecute is a big deal.
But, don’t those posters here think we are the ones posting our “lies and fantasies” under alters on YouTube and other chats? That must be the case since they are afraid to venture out, OR they know their heroine is posting in those areas so they don’t need to. Apparently they want to fight their fight on this battlefield. I think this is simply an equine forum, but they seem to think it is much more powerful and important than even we comprehend!
