Based on what we have been told by KK (Seeker1), she typed a transcript from the recording(s). If a transcript is not prepared by a certified Court Reporter/transcriptionist, the transcript will not be Certified. Certification of the transcript says that no hokey stuff has been added or deleted in the transcript.
I am going to assume in other states as well, but in NC a transcript is only Certified as verbatim if the Court Reporter records/stenotypes/mask the proceeding and then produces the transcript.
KK/Seeker1 is neither a Court Reporter or Transcriptionist.
If, for example, no recordings have been disclosed that say anything close to that, and neither MB nor SGF have any evidence that recording exists, the transcripts become the last known piece of evidence which could lead to further questions and discovery re: said recordings.
We haven’t heard much about them getting out when the FM ordered them to… But I think it’s highly plausible that MB found that RCs gun was missing, and knew that when they left by order of the FM they didn’t take much, so thought the house was empty and maybe there was evidence of their nonsense there, possibly including the gun.
.
They may have a copy of the report, but not the ancillary documents that support it. I would want to see the supporting documents, to determine if SS interpreted things correctly and/or if there was anything else in the documents (transcripts) that had been otherwise missed.
If any of the statements quoted in the SS report do not appear on the original recordings, such as “I’m going to effing kill her” that would be a clue that not all the recordings were turned over, or that the statement was not made. Still no role for any transcripts.
No. No it would not.
What is your problem with having each set of evidence looked at, if not that one of them put a slant on the facts?
If they all match, you would be happy for each one to be evaluated.
It’s possible he went to go see if he could find it. I always wondered why RC was asked to speak to CPS. I can’t think of a thing a visitor from out of state would have to say about the living conditions/abuse of the children, unless it was about her gun being on the property….
