Oddly enough, my SO/ex-DH just saw a list of the least favorite Halloween candies and asked me what I thought was number one. I immediately said Candy Corn. Yep. Sorry Candy Corn lovers. Of course, that means there’s all the more for you.

Wonderful idea! A friend and I have an apartment overlooking the Bay of Douarnenez in Bretagne for the month of Apr. If you have another postponement, you can come with us to take your Zoom call! Apartment has high-speed wi-fi.
(First flight since the arrival of Covid. Immuno-compromised and nervous. Almost postponed trip again, but my best friend called and told me she just got diagnosed with Parkinson’s. She said life is too short and you just never know. Then added she would come and beat my butt if I tried to postpone again. So, I’m going. Period.).

I promise! She lives on the East Coast, but I told her if/when the time ever comes, I have a lovely guest suite downstairs for her and her two kitties, and we’ll become the Golden Girls of the beach.
She’s the most independent person I know, and I was hesitant on saying that to her. But we both cried and laughed, and I think it helped both of us.

That is some cut rate travel these people take if they rely on fast food joints for connectivity while traveling. I don’t even know kids who are that hurting for wifi on the go. These folks must be absolutely skint!
I cannot believe in this day and age that there are people who consider themselves sophisticated, at least to a certain extent, who don’t have a travel plan on their phones, a sim card when they land, or a personal hotspot. Or stay at a hotel respectable enough to have in-room wi-fi.
Since they are reading along, Kanareks, if you travel in Europe I can recommend Wi-Fi Candy. They will deliver (or you can pick up at major airports) and you just pop it in the mail as you leave for home. They send the pre-address package with the unit. I spend my time in super remote places and have had zero connectivity issues.
I also spent my summer taking 2 standing conference calls that ended up being 12 AM and 2 AM b/c I had travelled and changed time zones. When something is important to your job or your family, you make it work.
Or, at least, people of integrity do…

As I was reading Mark Silver’s filing, I started to wonder if he has ever seen LK in action, either by watching her on the stand or via video of the trial.
Do lawyers ever do that to find out the personality they are up against? I realize he has a pretty good idea anyway from her demands in the filings.
